I'm just stunned that the legislature is spending it's time trying to actively work against the peoples wishes. If we can put our own measures on the ballot and vote for them, what the frick are we even paying these guys for? And they make a damn sight more than $12 a fricking hour.

I honestly don't have a problem with term limits. Vote them out if they suck. The real problem is with the uniformed voters who won't vote them out.

You're awfully ambitious on that one.

I think we should abolish the state legislature entirely. Get apps on our phone that allow us to write and vote on our own legislation. Crowd source that shite. Our government is outdated at this point, it needs to be completely overhauled.

Of course, that's only an issue if you're poor.
Disagree. Its an issue if you are middle class, like me, and pay 1/3 of your pay in taxes every year to pay for someone else's kid.

If you're rich and manipulate the system by taking advantage of loopholes so you don't have to pay millions of dollars in taxes to the country, you're a genius. If you're poor and manipulate the welfare system and take advantage of loopholes for $30K, you're an uneducated piece of trash.
Nope. Both are complete trash in my opinion.
Everyone should be willing to do their part, just as I am (just not to that extreme). The problem is, nobody wants to do their part. They want everyone else to do it for them

Well, yes, the burden for both groups falls on the middle class. I am also a middle classer. Of course, in 2018 the average tax payer paid about $110 toward child nutrition plans while contributing $3500 to paying for the military (and 3/4 of that goes to military contractors and not the troops themselves).
It's almost like it's really just a drop in the bucket overall and rich have us cucked into thinking they care about our best interest to maintain their status quo and that the poor are the actual enemy. You know, just like we learned in Sunday school.
Anyway, happy election day everyone!
