Here's the deal. I keep seeing people say why leave Boca?
It's about what's important to him. If he's happy living in paradise at a lower tier school, good for him he should stay there forever.
I think a lot of that talk about why would a coach leave a good location like Boca or any other great place to live is fan/local myopia (from their end, not ours).
If that were what mattered to these guys, Hawaii and San Diego State would be top tier jobs. Conversely, nobody would want to coach at LSU or Bama because Baton Rouge is a war zone and Tuscaloosa has all the charm of a half-shuttered mall, but those are places coaches want to be.
Outside of a few guys like Chris Petersen, these guys largely don't give a shite about that stuff. They care about contracts, control, money pool for quality assistants, facilities, and support from the administration and donor base. They're nothing like the guys who post on the OT asking whether they should take the accounting job in Salt Lake or Charleston and cost of living/quality of life of both.

Not a Leach backer, but an agreement in principle doesn't mean allot without something being signed. There is no statement that it has been signed.
Of not IMHO it does peg his salary as $4mill/year with a $750K bonus at the end of 2020. IMHO he is not worth the amount it would cost to get him here. Likely would have to be something along the lines of $5+ million a year.

Trey 247....
A good source of mine was told Deion Sanders is out of the mix for Arkansas and that Sanders said like Lane Kiffin is in. I don't know that Primetime would know Kiffin is 'in' other than speculating on it. But Deion did say he's not in the mix now, according to my source.
A couple people out there who know Arkansas football...not saying they'd necessarily be privy to this info for sure...tell me that they hear Barry Lunney Jr. is a possible candidate, though we were kinda told otherwise initially. We know Yurachek has flown all over the country talking to head coach candidates.

I just think that’s the only possible way HY would have any interest in him. There’s no way he was about to risk his entire career by hiring Deion as head coach and everyone involved had to know that.

LOL. Oh i thought you meant he'd be joining Kiffin's staff as DB Coach.

Yeah that’s my wish. Ha Listed as a DB/S coach but in reality just mainly recruiting.

I just want to add this is the best board there is. Uncensored. Small tight knit group of (mostly smart fans. We are the definetly the most football knowledgeable group as we are on an SEC board, and have a broad sense of the conference as a whole compared to the homercenrtric fans of HV/247)
Stopped reading right here.
This place sucks because of the Tardville infection, of which there's no cure.

Rebs seem confident again tonight. Really hope we’re due to be the frickers and not the frickees.
