I am kind of amazed that Varady has kept clean in all of this at the foundation.
He had to know about the Jeff Long money coming in to the foundation, how it was covered up etc.
And honestly, I am not a fan....
Varady is a good dude and has had to deal with some of the most pettiest bs that the u in a @ f has had in a long arse time.

Apparently, Kevin Scanlon has heart issues which probably eliminate him from the AD job.
Edit...Dudley says this is false.

He’s an EVP at Stephens (been there since around ‘87 if I’m not mistaken) and apparently one of WS’s top guys. Would definitely check the “business acumen” box.
Not necessarily advocating for him, but you don’t rise to that level at a place like Stephens solely on the merits of being a former Razorback.

Rumor is he would be serving under Malzahn as the "business AD." Malzahn will be offered a head coach/AD package like Broyles and he'll serve as both if he accepts. The idea is to build in job security for him, which he doesn't have at Auburn. If he doesn't succeed on the field in the first 4-5 years, he'll step aside and still be AD.
