While it’s only game 5, Diggs and Souza are black holes in this offense.

I think Diggs will be fine, he's a good player. Really good AB there in the 9th. Souza hasn't ever done anything and is running out of chances however.

Dude. It's the same shite, different year and different players. Same approach. Nothing changes.

DVH won't sit Diggs. We've seen this movie before with upperclassmen

Frustrating seeing a guy like Souza look so lost. It's like he's never hit a baseball in his life, but yet he has potential to be great.

Nate has fricked him up bad.

I mean shite these were his summer league stats

G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB AVG
15 48 13 13 4 0 2 12 18 14 7 .271

Hitting coaches don't really do much, he's just not very good. People got hyped on him from a small sample size early in the season last year like Trevon Brazile. Neither are actually very good and it isn't the coaches for them.

Jayson Jones from the left side.

Now, don’t go look at what Jones is currently doing for my Pokes.

If that isn't an indictment on NT then I don't know what to think.

I'll be curious to see if he can sustain that average and not fall off a cliff.

That would be hard to say really. Getting to face SEC pitching is a bit different IMO and would be comparing apples to oranges somewhat.

He will be interesting to follow though.

Jones has 6 K's in 4 games and 5 in the last 2. Same guy he's always been. Tons of K's but pop, you can say that for a million hitters. I think we scored like 45 runs that one regional in the OSU bandbox.

I remember last year somebody mentioned another former Razorback that was raking after transferring. I can't remember the name though.
