17 runs today. In 40 degree weather.

Pitching looked great too.

I’ll take it

Notice how the same crew that instantly comes in to bash Thompson disappears when we score 14 and run rule? At least the majority of our fans are good.

I'm still about getting rid of Thompson. One game doesn't change that when past history shows he sucks arse.

Does it though? I'd bet he's had more good to great years than bad here. I believe 2022 was when we started tanking but he's been here since 2018 and never had a bad year until just recently so I'll give you recent history not great but overall he's had too many good seasons to say that. Two bad seasons in his 8 years and several great seasons including what should have been a natty. Hell at one point many considered him the best or at least a top hitting coach in college.

I'll let this season play out instead of crying to fire him every time we don't score 10+ runs. That's just exhausting and pointless.

In a 56 game season…let’s give it more than one game.

Hawgeye! For shame! You are one of the elder Statesmen here. You know we have a time honored tradition of panicking at the slightest hint of adversity.

We will sweep this under the rug but you've got to start having nervous breakdowns darn it.

I do like how Thompson is in the dugout now. Hitters have to walk by him on the way back. He talked shite to diggs when he struck out swinging a ball out of the zone.

Diggs is going to be short lived in this lineup. Too many dudes now.

Iredale has come out the gate strong. He should have 4 homers, but settled for 3 in the series so far.

It’s got to be mental with that kid.

He has all the tools to be great. Tremendous power and can take it either way.

I just don’t understand why he is guessing at the plate. Step up there and hit the damn ball dude. 7 at bats and 5 ks ain’t gonna cut it.

DVH loves him some upper classmen. He kept Diggs in the lineup last year despite is atrocious hitting.

Diggs only started facing live pitching a couple weeks ago, he'll get plenty of time in the non-con against scrubs and blowouts.

Watched him in 9th grade. Would’ve never imagined he would grow into that.

Hopefully he can locate and have more movement than his brother. D1 players can mash flat 100mph pitches

He's a draft eligible sophomore and MLB pipeline already has him top 20 among college players. Crazy.
