superstition angle here, but Brazille has a good game every other game

We need our big men to play their best game of the season Thursday night.
Whether it's rebounding, scoring, blocking shots, contesting shots... every extra bit of effort they provide the better our chances.
Also we need Billy, Meleek, and DJ to keep the ball in front at all costs. I would add Darius to that group, but we can't have him getting in foul trouble or winded.
Ball pressure could pay dividends for us after what I saw last night. Arizona's guards did NOT like being pressed at all.
If we trap, do it with PURPOSE. Make it impossible for them to pass out or dribble out. Too many times I see teams trap but don't stay wide with their arms or feet.
Analytically it's a tough match up for us, but if the guys just give us 10 percent more effort on defense we can win this game.

The X factors to me at this point is Pringle & Knox. Imagine if we get both back for Arizona.
Everyone dogging on our team defense & Acuff’s defense lose sight of the concessions on defense we had to make being short handed. Add back our pieces & our defense should become more sustainable.

Hopefully having Pringle and Knox (maybe?) back should help with this. Watching the second half of their game was encouraging. They needed 40 FTs and 16 offensive rebounds to put UTST away.
We’ve been winning without having everyone clicking on all cylinders. Could this be the game that changes?

Semedo is a top 40 center who needed to put on 40-50 lbs. If he’s gotten to 260 put him in. Everything I read was how talented he was but needed to gain weight and work on some skills

Moody with an awful injury last night. Career ending never the same type long long road for recovery. Sucks.
