Also, looking at our metrics I didn't know Knox was our 2nd best DRtg on the team. Bigger loss on that end than many thought.

Knox out for the year is the rumor.

Can we bring him in as defensive coordinator?

Ewin had 3 separate game costing plays in a span of 2 mins in double ot. I mean, gimmies. Layups.
Honestly on that last dunk, if he makes it… I don’t see any way we come out ahead with who we had left to play for another 5 minutes.
We should’ve shot a 3 there because it was our only hope. The shot at the end of OT1 was really our chance

been the most disappointing of the original group to me.... we saw flashes last year... this year he's looked lazy like he's mailing it in trying to not get hurt for the draft... gonna cost him being a pick too.
His upside is incredible but we aren't seeing it

I think his knee has been bad all year and he’s been playing through it. Going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I guess that's fair..... Hard to know exactly what's going on.

Cals strategy of "I'm only going to play about 7 or 8 guys" is coming back to bite him.

Had to have hung on and won in regulation or that putback at the end of OT1.
Simply not enough kids ready to go for a 2OT game on the road. Calls weren’t as bad as I’ve seen….pretty standard and expected road game in the SEC. 26 fouls on hogs…17 on Bama….probably typical SEC road game crap…but ours were spread across 7 players (6 really as Brazille wasn’t fouling anyone while watching and waiting on a block vs playing defense).
Points in the paint also killed us….see Brazille watching and waiting for a block….

The uncontested layups up and down every possession was mind blowing.

There’s a function of the foul discrepancy playing a factor there down the stretch.
It hand cuffed the hell out of our team during their run at the end and in overtime. No question about it.
You can’t have Brazile going balls to the wall with Pringle, Thomas and Richmond on the ropes with fouls and no Sealy or Knox available.
Defense was pretty solid most of the game and to be up that much all things considered and in it that long is admirable. Bama is a good team at home and that kind of foul differential should have put the game away long before it did, even with Acuff going off.

Honestly, playing as few guys as we did and the game going to 2OT, I’m not surprised we saw some foul outs. 4 is extreme but could easily a couple.
To me, the real disparity is in what WASN’T called on Bama.
But again, like others have said, to be expected on the road on the SEC.

Numbers are better. As much as Calipari is known for “whining”, at least he backs it up with data instead of acting like a pussy like Oats. Slept on it and feel bad for our guys but glad to see them hang and go all out. Pringle just needs to learn to give 5 hard fouls at the right time and then go sit on the bench if he doesn’t want to play like he did last year. Ewin and Wagner - don’t even know what to say. Sad when we have basically 3-4 guys carrying the team and only one is a big. But that’s just what I saw last night (in addition to typical SEC road officiating bullshite).

Richmond kept attacking the basket, but did not shoot a free throw. That's my only gripe with officiating. We lost because Brazile and Wagner were 1-8 from 3, and holy crap Ewing, just tap it in.
I've been calling to work in Elmir all year. Let the big guy take up space in the paint and deal some bruises for a spell. Maybe now.

I mean there wasn’t much choice. The refs were itching to call a foul every bama possession
