You will never convince me that TCU wasn't stealing signs.
They squared up everything. 1st pitch all the way to 5th pitch. Up and down the lineup.
Never seen anything like it for that many games.

Even if they were stealing signs I’m impressed.

I'm actually more excited about some of the players we finally "lose" after this season than the ones we may gain.
Slavens, Rowland and Bolton were automatic outs for most of the season. Pitching aside, you’re never going to win anything when you’re basically conceding an inning’s worth of outs in your lineup.
I know it’s unfair to compare current players against their predecessors, but going from Jalen Battles and Michael Turner to John Bolton and Parker Rowland was something we couldn’t overcome.
Turner to Rowland was a tremendous dropoff in offensive production. Turner was our best hitter last year and was our only guy above .300 for much of the season, whereas Rowland spent most of the season below the Mendoza Line and padding opposing pitchers’ strikeout numbers.

I mean seriously.
It's one thing to sit on a pitch. It's another to be ready for every single pitch our guys threw. They weren't guessing and getting lucky.
I mean shite, they RARELY had weak contact, and RARELY struck out. A lot of their outs were balls hit to the warning track.
I'm seriously curious if DVH will investigate at all. He had to be thinking to himself "how in the hell!?"
If it was one or two hitters I get it, but damn near everyone in their lineup was on point.

As far as the BP, we lose Morris. Smith should be returning. Wood returns. Not sure about Tygart. Also, lose Frank and Wiggins. McEntire might leave. I wouldn't blame him before they abuse his arm next year. Carter will probably miss half of next season. Not sure about Coil, Foutch, Fitzpatrick and others like Bybee. Depends if they want to adventure the portal route.
Frank was a grad transfer but can probably get another year of eligibility via medical redshirt if he wants one.
We’ll presumably lose a few of the young arms mentioned above to the portal.
Good chance we don’t see Carter next year due to TJ, and if we do it’ll be near the end and on very low pitch counts.
I don’t think Tygart is draft eligible.
I doubt we lose McEntire. He and his family are diehard Hogs through and through.

Frank has already said he's returning. After he had the surgery and again announcing his fiance is pregnant.

Well, good about Frank. I don't know much about the recovery time for hid of injury. Hopefully, he'll be good to go before the start of next season.

Yeah but you won’t get a Smith, Wiggins and Tygert in the portal.

I agree 100%. Hagen doesn't get hit like that. Ever. He will sometimes lose command and walk people but him turning into Kole Ramage all of a sudden and then today dialing it in...something isn't right.
