It was still fun but definitely a more toned down atmosphere since the NCAA doesn’t allow as many theatrics from the home stadium crew like in the regular season.
I did think it was weird that they randomly decided to play walk up songs for some players throughout the game but didn’t most of the time.

Yeah it’s supposed to be a “neutral site” atmosphere. Probably can’t do everybody’s walk up song but if every once in a while the music you happen to play for somebody’s approach to the plate is their walk up song, oops? Same for the music played when we hit a HR. It’s definitely a gray area but our crew usually does a good job with it IMO. But I wasn’t able to go yesterday so I can’t speak to specifics. But I’ll be there tonight.

If the delay continues the fair thing is play our game tonight and the early game tomorrow. Forcing a 1st round winner to play a double header tomorrow with the 1st round loser getting rest would be B.S.
