When did you quit watching Razorback Football?
Have you given up on Basketball since Muss has just been a Participant in the Tournament?
Maybe you should pick the best teams in different sports and become a T-shirt fan like most Bama football fans.

Comparing college baseball to college football and basketball is laughable. I’m laughing now.

What a disastrous end to the season for the Ladybacks.
1-2 in regional smoked both games by Oregon. Eliminated today 14-4 in 5 innings.
Pretty big letdown year for the softball team.

Getting demolished in their own regional? No.

Very young Razorback team vs an older experience Oregon team who we beat in the Fayetteville Regional last year with our veteran team.
Oregon appeared to be underseeded and we didn't get an elite pitcher in the transfer portal last year to pair with Delce and it wasn't for lack of trying.
Delce appeared to tire over the last 3-4 weeks.
Getting to host a regional with so many first year every day players was a plus for this season.

I just checked and this is the third straight postseason that’s ended at Bogle Park. Looks like basically every postseason ends somewhere other than the WCWS.

Yeah our softball team never remotely had any success before Diefel arrived. Losing the last 2 home super regionals sucked pretty bad, especially last year against Texas. Last year’s team was salty. This year’s team was always gonna be a step down considering we lost 50% of our pitching staff and all but 2 position player starters.
But it still sucks getting smoked in your own home Regional. Also very much agree that Delce tired down the stretch. The increased workload all year really started to get to her

For some perspective, prior to Coach Diefel arriving, we had spent 1 week ranked in program history. With Diefel (since 2016), we have been ranked for 83 weeks.
2016 - didn’t make the postseason
2017 - made the NCAAT, lost @ OU
2018 - hosted a regional and won it, then lost the super @ OU
2019 - made the NCAAT, lost @ OSU
2020 - Covid
2021 - hosted a regional and won it, lost the Super at home to Arizona
2022 - hosted a regional and won it, lost the Super at home to Texas
2023 - hosted a regional and lost
Diefel has more than bought herself some time

A bit of softball program history:
The softball program was started in 1997.
Courtney Deifel became the fourth head coach in program history when she was hired on June 11, 2015, and recently completed her eighth season at Arkansas in 2023.
She is also the all-time winningest coach in Razorback softball history with 278 wins.
Deifel was named back-to-back SEC Coach of the Year in 2021 and 2022.
Mary Haff (2021) and Chenise Delce (2022) named SEC Pitcher of the Year. KB Sides (2022) named SEC Player of the Year.
She has built the program that has won two SEC regular season championships, one SEC Tournament championship and six NCAA Tournament appearances (2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023).
Those NCAAT appearances resulted in the program's first three trips to the NCAAT Super Regionals (2018, 2021, 2022).
2022 was the most successful season in program history winning a program-best 48 games (48-11) and claiming the SEC regular season and SEC tournament championships in the same year for the first time in program history.

I'm pretty impressed she won 40 games and hosted with this years team after everything we lost last year.
Need to develop and add some pitchers after having Storms, Haff and Delce.
