Guys get a little lazy and think they are to good. Muss lets them get their teeth kicked in a few times then hopefully they wake up.

Not really mad at this one. First true road game in the PMac, and we couldn’t hit water if we fell out of a boat.
Overall we played decent. I still think we are basically the 2021/2022 teams without Smith. Need him back (and healthy) to take that next step

Let's hope. No excuse to lose the game at the free throw line.
Lost it shooting 25 3’s. That’s not our game. We completely abandoned our game tonight.

I agree. We played well enough. We couldn’t make any jump shots but this team never does so I can’t really say that was some type of aberration. It’s another poor shooting gritty Muss team not unlike the last two years.

Last year's team was excellent at the line especially late, and as the announcers said we led the nation in free throws it's a huge part of our game.
This team is nowhere near that. Inexcusable by Council tonight he's not young either.

Also apparently this is a legal move in basketball now. I expect us to use it as well.

Thought devo played great.
One thing i've noticed is Black barks at officials when he doesn't get the foul call. He needs to quit that shite.

In blacks defense he had just been punched in the face.

I don't disagree but he does it almost every game. Hes gonna get t'd up.

But of course Devo misses the wide open corner 3 to tie it with no one near him. And you knew before he shot it he was going to miss.

I have no problem with davis shooting with the way he shot tonight.
Council
Black
Davis
All played 40 minutes

I miss the devo who knew he couldn't shoot and took everything to the rim

We really missed Nick tonight. This team needs a zone buster

Poor movement without the ball. You don't see that when we're playing well.

Too bad none of the other Freshmen have been able to shoot their way in to some minutes.
I'm not going to freak out. We played tough and fought the whole game. These guys may struggle a little while adapting to SEC play. Especially road games.

Personally I never want to see Devo shoot 8 three's in a game again.
Or Walsh for that matter.

Just looked at the full box score and noticed Devo, Black and and Council never checked out of the game. Only 12 minutes from the bench combined.

Devo shooting threes doesn’t necessarily bother me. Devo shooting multiple 28 footers bothers me. If you get rid of the 2-3 of of those he took he actually played a solid game IMO.

That adds up. I was kind of confused reading the board last night. Devo and Walsh were unequivocally the two best Razorback players last night. Both were excellent outside of those 25+ footers.
If Devo rattles in another three I think we’re talking about him playing his best game in 12 months. He handled the ball really well and played with a nice mix of calm and aggressiveness.
Walsh is becoming our best overall player quickly. His motor is insane.
I’m a little worried about Council playing 40 minutes if NSJ is out for extended time. I think a 25-30 minute version of RC4 is the one we want. He had the ball in his hands way too much last night.
