Was getting beat by Duke our UNLV, you need to get some men moment for Muss?
Muss seems to like small lineups and it hurt us last year, so I think you're right. Having said that, he has to use them and use them right, which I'm not convinced he'll do.
Just finished watching Arizona beat Indiana and Arizona has great size up front. Purdue has a sasquatch, but unlike Arizona, I think they're slow footed. The Mitchell brothers would tie for the 5th tallest players for Arizona and I think they all played.

I really do love watching this team play. I'm hoping Makhi Mitchell and Kamani continue to get plenty of minutes. They were invaluable today. Muss is freaking great.

Creighton lost again, to BYU 83-80. Kalkbrenner was out however due to illness.
Saint Mary's took down SDSU 68-61.
Both will fall out of the Top 25.

Getting to the time of year we can start digging into some stats
LINK
Few things I noticed:
We’re extremely comparable in play style/effectiveness to our 2021 and 2022 teams. That’s a big testament to Muss considering the roster turnover.
Council and NSJ are unsurprisingly our best players and it’s not really clear which is better at this point.
Walsh has been solid at everything statistically so far, not great at anything. Right now he’s a good glue guy, but he’s in a good position to build off and become more of an offensive threat. Really hoping he can as he’s going to be key for us.
Kai Mitchell is statistically really good at everything
Devo is statistically really bad at most things. Having a terrible year right now.
Kamani spends such a high percentage of this time at the free throw line, sommeone should build him a house there.

Remember when many were disappointed when we brought in the Mitchell twins? Not that good, locker room cancers, etc? Turns out Muss knows, like he always does

I really wish Graham would get in sync. He was a 1.7 in both 22 and 21 at Arizona State on your site there.
0.6 this year for us.
0.6 this year for us.

Just seems like he has no motor, it’s weird.
As much as everyone is stroking Bama, their guards are slow and the offense still seems to be this 50/50 clear the lane and throw shite up or kick out 3. Can beat anyone/lose to anyone style.
Houston completely crapped that game away. They must have gone like 5-20 shooting down the stretch.
Don’t get me wrong, I know Bama will be tough but I still think we have the edge on talent and coaching.

Sears 6'1 G
Burnett 6'4 G
Miller 6'9 F
Clowney 6'10 F
Bediako 7'0 C

Size is great but Guards take you deep.

Graham still has a small sample size with us to be fair. Turnover rate and mediocre defense seem to be his problems

This. Like the guys said about NSJ. He's coming into his own after getting some games under his belt. Graham I think will be fine if he does well enough to not get benched for playing like booty

Not sure if anyone caught this while watching the game yesterday, but when Kamani assisted NSJ, watch Kamani once NCJ puts it up. Here's the clip.
There's another camera angle that showed the vantage point from underneath the basket. I thought it was even funnier. It's as if Kamani knew it was a guaranteed FG when NSJ put it up from that close. Or, it could've been that Kamani wasn't really in a position to get a rebound anyway. Regardless, just need to keep improving.

The reason Mani was allowed to stay. He's a banger on the inside and has 5 fouls to draw.

Kamani always seems to discombobulate the other team and get in their heads. As soon as he comes in he starts getting tied up with guys and the refs have to separate them, then the other team starts getting fouls called on them. He's our toughness guy, love his attitude.
