And Lykes hasn’t been? A shorter no outside shot of Devo? Haven’t seen him play defense, and too short to rebound.

Notae should be coming off the bench. Vanover should be sitting on the bench.

I thought Toney was going to be Justin Smith, but that’s not looking to be shaping up.

That's because we can't shoot. Collapse the lane and cut off our drivers and we're done.

He's absolutely terrible on defense and he shoots too many I'll advised shots just like Notae.

Maybe Muss should spend more time teaching defense rather than the Harlem Globetrotter pregame antics.

Problems…

Notae: 27% from 3; 22 turnovers; 41% FG; 166 FG attempts(next closest on team is 95 attempts)

Lykes: 37% FG; 31% from 3; 10 assists(all season); 10 turnovers

Davis: 22 turnovers

Williams: 27% from 3; 20 turnovers

Vanover: .083% from 3; 11 minutes/game(needs 0)

Of the 61 shots attempted by Arkansas against Oklahoma yesterday, Notae, Davis, and Lykes attempted 43 of those. They only made 14. 9 of those males were by Davis.

The offense needs to funnel through Toney, much like we did last year with Justin Smith. Williams has too many touches outside the 3 point arc IMO. This leads to his turnovers because he believes he can thread the needle on each pass. Toney only had 4 shot attempts yesterday.

Didn't get to watch yesterday. But turned the game on today......we couldn't have started any worse. I'm glad this loss game now vs in conference.

Maybe it makes lykes and Notae wake the frick up.

Umude seems to be a culprit of being lost on defense and letting those backdoor cuts happen

There is no question that Lykes and Umude put a cap on the defense whenever they are on the floor. That is why its even more important that they are providing something significant on the offensive side.

Lykes gets a lot of criticism (rightly so) but Umude is a big net negative if he isn't hitting shots.

I thought muss nailed his presser for someone thrown out of a game. He's certainly the best at handling the media that we have ever had in any sport.

Vanover didn't do anything wrong just isn't strong or fast enough.

Across the board starters were bad.

Notae has a shot selection problem and muss has no faith he will shoot himself out of it. Notae disagrees but muss will look at changing his role or lineup potentially.

Lykes defense is bad and turnovers was backbreaking.

We basically need to work on rebounding, shooting, and passing this week.....

Talked about not respecting the other guys 3pt shot enough.

He basically gave the media all their talking points to check egos and express how bad the game was.

The more replays I watch, the more it just seems bizarre going with Lykes, Notae and Davis at the same time.

Have to figure out how to get someone like Robinson or Umede catching and shooting on the outside with Davis and Notae trying to create in the lane.

Lykes, Notae and Davis on the floor at once doesn't even make sense to me hypothetically and it clearly isn't working.

One or both of Notae/Lykes clearly need to be a spark off the bench. It's crazy how much we're missing Tate, Smith is a big loss but Tate actually might be the one we miss worse.

Hofstra is a good team and battle tested, we play poorly again and they will whip our arse.

No question, I glad this isn't a 250+ kenpom team. If we kill a team like that it doesn't really mean anything coming off of that loss. If you beat a team like Hofstra going away, I think its a great sign for the future.

I am ready for the Lykes Experience to end. One of the worst defensive players I have ever seen.

The most frustrating part is he isn't getting beat cause of size but simply not being focused on his guy or knowing who he has
