Willy’s defenses were better than last years. We actually had the #33 overall scoring defense when we fired him in 2011. In comparison, we finished #115 last year.
I’d also take Willy back in a heartbeat because he could actually defend the spread unlike Bielema and his crew.

This is something overlooked. He had answers for the spread and trickery offense better than anyone since. I hated the bend but don’t break style.
My thoughts on defense - the advantage is already with the offense so why not try to create any and all havoc to force turnovers. The other team will score regardless. Give yourselves a shot.

He had trouble with just about everything else, but Willy could shut down spread teams left and right. In today's SEC he'd be a top 5 DC.

There are some pretty good BBQ joints in the state. Nick's in Carlisle, Stubby's and McClard's in Hot Springs, Backyard BBQ in Magnolia, and Simms in Little Rock. I know I'm forgetting a bunch of them. I'm going to have to try Wright's now.
