Trust me, we didn't miss on Bohannan. Just watch his career. Won't be an elite player at QB.

Parents ruining the kids moment.

Shakin' the bush boss!
Does that go for everyone, or just me? I need an almighty proclamation on that.

Am I the only one that wouldn't be shocked at all if JSJ is starting in 2 years?

Cool Hand Luke reference. You know, they couldn't wipe their arse without permission from on high, failure to communicate, all that.

I am willing to bet Copeland's mom was fixing to get paid to get him to Bama and she just watched that payday walk away.

Or had a job lined up.

She had to call and ask if she could keep the dodge charger
Posted on 2/7/18 at 3:45 pm to The_Joker
something was definitely up, she had to be talked too by a family member, before she came back to hug him.
Saddens me. As a parent, I dread the day my kid leaves and moves away. We are a close family. All I can do is teach, admonish, encourage the best I can until that day happens and hope and pray that my child is ready, willing, and able to meet life head on.

So... did Gasaway take a scholly to AState over a PFO to Arkansas? We sure could have used another OL or two...
Posted on 2/7/18 at 4:50 pm to WonderWartHawg
Yes they signed him, Layne Hatcher and Nathan Page

Will this be our worst class in 25 years or so?
By the thoughts of the class on NSD, the rankings, yes this is the worst class since Jack Crowe was here.
Reality will probably show that it will be on one of the more efficient classes as almost everyone signed appears they will be contributors at some point, or the 7 schollys from the "full class" who end up being busts or transfer out are culled from the get go.
That isn't to say it is a "great class" finishing last in the SEC" for the first time ever is embarrassing, the class could have been better, next year's has to be much better in hopes it averages out to the norm top 30 class for Arkansas finishing 54th isn't going make doing so no small task.
Lets not kid ourselves, if this class does not pan out with the key guys who we need to contribute in the next 2 years doing so, bowl games are going to be few and far between the next coaching change...
I know, I know it was a small class.
#4 USC - 18 signees
#6 Clemson - 17 signees
#7 Bama - 19 signees
#14 Florida - 19 signees
#21 Michigan - 19 signees
#39 Stanford - 15 signees
#41 Vandy - 19 signees
#50 Syracuse - 19 signees
The only class in the SEC you can look at and say for sure the additional signees would help pass in the rankings is Mizzou who finished 42 with 26 signees and possibly Kentucky (who had more 4*s than us this year but then so did Vandy).
We will have to wait and see what the staff can do with a full recruiting cycle, Chief and the D staff did an excellent job with the time they had to sign the players they did, but they had the advantage of recruiting these guys while at aggy, where as Chad is still an up and comer and is fishing in completely different pool of talent than he was at SMU. It would be nice if he could flip the legacy players in next years class away from Aggy to Arkansas

Chad Morris on Andrew Parker:
Andrew Parker... This was the last guy. He was the one who had us sweating. He's going to make a lot of plays for us. He came up here with his mom and fell in love. ... At his school, they don't even have a practice field. They had to go to a park to practice. They had only three coaches. ... For someone his size, he moves exceptionally well. Coach Cooper and Coach Chavis did a great job with him. His upside is phenomenal. This guy will play the game a looong time. He was well-worth the wait. His relationship with Cooper and Chavis was what pushed us over the top.

These are both informative links from Andrew.
Had 12 seniors, 16 signees with possibly Gerald being 17. Clary, Henry, Cross all went on scholarship. We are four over the 85 limit for fall camp. Five if we add Dorian Friday.
Talked about Foucha ending up at corner. Leads me to believe our future at safety will be Mason-SS (at 225j, Brown-FS.
Back to four down front means some OLBs like Ramsey and Bell probably move down. They are also starting Agim out at DE.

The closing ability from Morris and staff was impressive to say the least.
