If you’re interested in watching, there is a signing day show on right now on the football Facebook page or SECN+. They’re talking recruiting with the coaches so it’s been pretty interesting so far. Traylor is on now.

They'd need a wide angle lens.

Does anyone remember a worse recruiting class? On paper that is.

I’m pretty impressed with what they were able to scrape together assuming a few more things fall today.
What is making it so bad in your opinion, the rankings?

By ranking, no. But the average player rating is better than 2013, 2014, and 2017. That's as far back as I looked.

Low numbers (need depth), low composite score on 247 (although we've had lower scores in recent years), and low OL numbers.
Obviously this is just the beginning and a class can't be judged until year 4, but we'll see.

With Joseph Foucha @Joe_Foucha committing to Arkansas and joining Myles Mason @TrackstarMyles, it makes for the highest rated duo of safeties Arkansas has signed since ratings go back to 2002.

I think he's referring to the average composite score of the players, not the overall ranking.

Also, would you rather some scrub who will never see the field take up a scholly, just so you can have depth numbers, or save it for next year and sign a full class of more talent.
I have no problem with this class considering what the early signing period has done to college football.
We added some speed to the defense, which has sucked for years.

These coaches can’t do anything about the numbers that we’re predetermined to their arrival. With who we’ve signed today we are already over the 85 max cap for fall camp so more will have to be leaving after spring practice.
Rankings are very subjective not only based on quality but many sites stop updating rankings before the guys we get committed or sign with us. If the player has less than three red dots under ranking that means a service hasn’t evaluated or given ranking.
OL was never going to get flipped over night unless we had someone like Pittman with a bunch of scholarships. Jones flipping to ND was obviously the big loss but not much you can do about that with the season we had and his interest elsewhere.
