RazorHawg can probably speak to it better but I don't think we're in good shape with any of our top rated targets.

He's a Safety. I'm just talking front 7.

I do think we lead for Brown though. He's got to be our top target with how bad our safeties have been in comparison to our competition.

Not a lot of star power at the Hogs and Partridge's camp yesterday.

Only 1 offer extended by the Hogs and his best offer to date is Temple.

As I suspected our lazy coaches and lack of brand power didn't attract the type of athlete we're looking for. A couple of Ryan Pulley's former teammates w/ low mid-major offers seemed to get attention by the coaches according to RD.

This was a boon to Charlie Partridge who got over 300 campers to pay him $40 to get looked at by coaches from a SEC school. $12K is not a bad take for a 1/2 day's work.

I still think the University should use these things as marketing tools. You can't make them free according to the NCAA's rules, so you should make them as cheap as possible like say $5 a camper. Of course you'll be swamped by low level athletes, but hook em all up with a cheap t-shirt, get NIKE to pitch in gear of some type, pay some local HS coaches that have athletes we want to work the camp and pay em darn well, scatter the coaches for the first hour and pull the guys we want into more specific drills where our coaches work w/ the top end guys closer and leave FAU's and the host school's guys to work the guys that are more their tier's talent level.

The way I see Arkansas going about it is helping the little school more than it is helping us build relationships with local coaches and elite talent.

He does seem a little light. Don't know much about him maybe he's a jitterbug type of runner.

That other kid out of Texas (not the other Maleek) looks like he'd fit nicely w/ our system and he's got good size too.

I'm curious to see if my boy Cantrell gets some goal line package looks in the backfield.

The five/four stars everyone is after don't need to attend camps, on campus or satellites. However, their high school coaches feel as if they have several others in their team good enough for schools like fau. You help get these kids attention of the host school and their high school coach had your attention when recruiting his prized player...

Occasionally you may find the player who has the ability and potential, but really you gain more in networking with the coaches in the area and having a presence in the area for the camp. That's why the northern schools started coming south, they haven't really had a problem recruiting some star players from the south, they've had a problem maintaining a presence in these areas and swaying more of them to volunteer for the shitty weather up there.

His offer list is great. And I have an irrational love for scat backs. Want.

Jake Raulerson has committed to the Hogs!

He's eligible immediately and will have two years to play.

We might have a LT now, everyone assumes he'll play center but w/ all the shuffling of the line they're talking about I wouldn't be surprised at all by him moving around on the OL.

If Raulerson can hold down C, Ragnow back to RG and Wallace back to LT

or the talk of Skipper going to RG ends

Arkansas has reached into Oklahoma to land Jenks 3-star running back Jordon Curtis. Curtis, 5-11, 180, has eight offers and announced his decision on Twitter.

Blessed to say that I am committing to the university of Arkansas!! pic.twitter.com/9Po6ApXALP

— jordon curtis (@JordonCurtis) June 17, 2016

As a junior, the two-way player, Curtis rushed 87 times for 781 yards and 12 touchdowns while also catching 14 passes for 308 yards and two more scores. On defense, he had 24 tackles and two interceptions.

Curtis chose Arkansas over Kansas State, Iowa State, Arkansas State, Purdue, Rice, Texas Tech and Stephen F. Austin. While Curtis is rated as a running back, he can also play cornerback.

Curtis has a grade of 83 with the 247Composite, No. 77 running back in the nation and No. 18 recruit in Oklahoma in the Class of 2017.
