Would like to get a couple Texas recruit commits here soon. Would be good to have a handful of them for launching into summer.

Anyone know of news with Keaton Sutherland, don't hear much about him anymore. Seemed like he was basically a Hog Lock, now we're all over the midwest and eastern seaboard looking at OL.

Pretty creative. You can't say they aren't putting the effort in to his recruitment.

Did Gragg do that or did we?

Guard King McClure of Triple A Academy in Dallas will announce his college decision on Tuesday, according to his father LeRoy.

McClure, 6-31/2, 208 is rated the No. 59 prospect in the nation by ESPN. He will choose from Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas, SMU or UCLA.

Probably Kansas, but Baylor is said to be the other.

Allen is said to, basically, be leaning to go anywhere else. Yes, he has offers to some good schools to choose from.

On the other hand Jimmy Whit is said to be in the top3 on Kansas' board, he is from Missouri and is the one I've heard about the staff have a very good shot at.

It would suck to lose Allen, but if you brought in someone as good from elsewhere, its "OK".

Nobkdy knows where Allen is leaning or who he likes.. obly recruiting talk he has ever done was told Richard that he will take officials to Arkansas, Florida anf Kansas.

Surprising McClure is going to announce without taking officials.

Yeah, just hear the same talk from people about "anywhere but Arkansas" that sounds the same as Archie.

I don't know the policies of Kansas/Baylor, but he maybe committing to "hold a spot", but I'm pretty sure he's visited these places unofficially already.

We would have gotten Archie had we fired Pelphrey one year earlier.

In hindsight, looks like that additional year for Pel payed off...

Read elsewhere that Kansas hasn't been recruiting King as much recently, so I guess it will be between SMU and Baylor.

So I see that Bentonville is putting out a top QB in the 2016 class, Kasey Ford. Is there any early word on this kid or is his recruitment going to be pretty wide open throughout?

ETA - Or is he a sure thing for the MLB draft?

Had a dream that both KJ Hill and Denzel Mitchell committed to Bama in the same day. It was a bad dream.

Hill is probably Auburn's to lose. Mitchell who knows. I'd lean UCLA haha.

If we could somehow keep our talent in state and then add more TX, LA, MS, FL kids we'd have a fighting chance.
