Doesn't sound like he was 'blown away' by Miss State really, although he enjoyed it.
Another thing I noticed in an earlier post, CBB is visiting two of the lower LA recruits, but not the other two... another clue?

Grade issues and they may not end up part of the class.

We could finish strong enough to maybe break the top 25. Unfortunately that's equal to about 8th to 10th in the SEC.
8-10th in the SEC will get the job done if you run a solid development program and focus on having very high player retention. It's what built wisconsin into a program that overtook michigan and OSU for king of the conference. You need the elite talent guys but the difference between the star power of 8-10 and 5-7 isn't really all that much.

And that after a 3-9 season...
I imagine he'll be able to do better with more wins

If we somehow get JoJo, Pull off Thomas, and add those that are expected we are 19th by 247 Calculator
add Mike, Ragnow, or another unexpected and higher...
after a season like this... WOWZA!
Already a top 5-6 next year if we can keep it going... Future is so bright... gotta wear...

remember other teams will be adding as well

Disagree.
8-10 is pretty mediocre. We need to be in that 5-7 range to be in reach of competing consistently. I don't think well ever be a top 2 but in some years getting to 3-4 is doable and will be necessary to win in Atlanta.
It not just luck that the more talented teams we've had we're the ones that got to Atlanta.
I think if we could parlay some success on the field and get back to having an expectation of winning we could recruit really well. NWA is about to become a Top 100 MSA in 3-5 years with that will. One even more growth and investment.
A 25 man class needs to have this kind of breakdown for Arkansas to be Top 10 and competing for the playoff.
5* - 2-3
4* - 6-10
3* - 10-12
2* - 1-2 if severely overlooked, but generally we shouldn't even allow 2*'s in the football facility anymore.
1* - Go frick your mother.
I know thinking we could get 2-3 5* a year is craziness, but to win the whole thing that's the talent level we'll be playing. We gotta have a few of those ourselves.

I just do not agree with this CtotheVrzbck...
I agree we must do better and love the scenario you have entered. It will be more than difficult in Fayetteville.
We can achieve sec championship with less than that, and even an NC. I look at Auburn last season, how many 5 stars were on that team? I honestly do not know...
Mizzou? all the way to the SEC C game....I know they didn't have many 5 stars...
Can we do what you wrote on any consistent basis? Would love it.. .but...

Auburn's last 4 classes national and (SEC) finishes.
2010 - 6th (3)
2011 - 8th (4)
2012 - 11th (4)
2013 - 13th (7)
The rankings aren't everything but the better ingredients you start a meal with the better it will taste.

Arkansas will never be ranked up there - it's perception plus the deflation we get on recruiting services.
We will have success stacking OL and DL with top talent, then evaluating and developing at the other positions unless we have a tie to a top talent either in-state or family/school.

Plus the fact that we don't have many in state 5 stars. The states we are competing with produce 4-5 5 stars to go along with their titles and current national perception.
We scream and holler if we have an in state 4 or 5 star go out of state and call them traitors. By what thinking should we expect players to do the same to their home states and the teams finishing every year in the top 5?

For comparisons sake, Louisiana has six 4*'s going out of state this year and LSU is still going to land a top 5 class.

So we will get Floyd tonight.
I wonder if there is any chance Brown goes ahead and shuts it down when Bielema visits tonight?

I think Lamont Simmons is on this list as well.
Tuesday

Thursday
Khalia Hackett

According to Dudley, Edwards has committed.

And 247. Got the text.

It seems odd that no one else is reporting. Considering how much Edwards who loves the twitters.
Dudley just responded to my questioning tweet.
@Dedsports: @RazorCoverage Yes. Per Kendrick Edwards' head coach, he has committed to Arkansas
