I just wanted to point out Tennessee has slid down the rankings after claiming the recruiting NC last month...

I feel like we could finish in the Top 20.
Land Shorter, could flip Bauer, and despite what others may think I'm 100% confident Frazier ends up a Hog, as well as Wingo and Craig Evans.
Even without Bauer, taking a full class, with those others among what we already have, I like our chances to finish in the teens.

I could be wrong, but that's probably the Pittman kid who played football at Texas and was killed in a car crash years ago. Don't remember the whole story but that's the only reason I can think of as to why they would have that picture up.
Don't feel like looking it up to be sure, but I'm sure the story is still out there.

From the other threads on the topic, it seems mizzou has an assortment of issues to fight through in order to ramp up recruiting... Slow SEC start, coaching uncertainty, instate talent leaving, etc.
From the outside looking in it seems like the writings on the wall for Pinkel. But if the next guy is the right one (or if he gets it together), it looks like it could turn around pretty quickly. And hopefully that goes for both schools. I know people seem on the fence about a rivalry, to put it nicely, but I actually would enjoy both programs being contenders. It doesn't have to be a super intense rivalry to have significance.
Anyone else Ark & Mizzou both going after strong this year?
