I hope you are joking, we need CB's out the arse, especially a 4 star that was committed to LSU with other offers from Georgia, Nebraska, OU, UCLA, A&M, Tenn, Ole Miss.

We just can't seem to get any momentum in Mississippi. I would like to get 2-3 players there every year

I can't reiterate how glad I was to hear Bielema talk about how he plans to build an elite walk on program.

When he hired him that was one of the points that resonated with me. Him being a former walk on, we award the Burlsworth Award, we're the state's program, we're in a talent/population deficient state. A walk on program, with Herbert's tutelage, and our relatively cheap out of state tuition and aggressive tuition waivers, and Bielema's track record and personality, and of course our top notch facilities and membership in the premier athletic conference all makes for a recipe to have a tremendous walk on program that should present the team with a couple contributors a year that we haven't had in the past and will build up depth and competition as well.

Been disappointed with our lb recruiting

I thought more kids would want to play for Shannon

Green was a DE, but I get your point.

Yeah, but I think we were kind of projecting him as a linebacker. At least as a possiblility. I was reading that somewhere back...

Sounds plausible, being a Dlinemen would mean he might just be slow enough to play LB for us.

Dale, he weighs 210-215 and played LB in high school. Didn't find his 40 time, but IIRC, it wasn't too slow.
Maybe that's where I was getting LB, guess were planning on beefing him up a good bit a putting him at end. 6-5 could hold 30-40 more pounds pretty easy.

Anyway... doesn't matter.

That weight says CB to me, if he can run a 4.6-4.7 40.

The height suggests F-S at that weight if his 40 is a blistering 5.0.

Malik Monk finally officially confirmed to be transferring to Bentonville, per Marcus Monk.

Marcus and Malik's mother is looking for a house in Bentonville and Malik will enroll at BHS when she finds one.

Can it be an NCAA violation if a recruit's family is given stuff while he's still in high school and before he ever enrolls at a college? Just wondering. That would be an interesting loophole.

But I'm guessing it would still be a violation because the athlete is no longer amateur, technically.

Easily, since that is the recruiting phase.
