Yes. Nothing different from what Ultimate posted other than he missed a lot of his junior year due to injury.

Someone stayed late and put in some over time today.

Apparently he has a TCU offer and Cinci offer, not sure if it is from Tubbs or Jones, but if Tubbs you are talking about 3 programs that are with 3 coaches who know a thing or two about defense. Shannon apparently is head over heals for this kid and it does give is an "in" with his school for the future.

Sounds like Shannon offered him twice to me. Although if you can talk bielema and Patterson into hiring a defensive player he can probably play some ball.

Saw earlier that Lacy's parents love Pittman and they'll be coming with him on his official visit and he said they'll sit down and decide between Arkansas and UCLA a few days after the visit.

Fwiw, he was almost a lock to Arkansas when Petrino was here.

What do you fellers think about Miami hiring this James Coley character to be OC? He was the OC at FSU and seemed very much to run a pass first offense. Is this good or bad for us in regard to Alex Collins?

Non factor for Collins, doesn't really change anything.

I still firmly believe he is Miami bound.

Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema and running backs coach Joel Thomas visited North Little Rock high school to see running back Altee Tenpenny and then did an in-home visit on Thursday. Bielema and Thomas was able to talk to Tenpenny at school and also watched track practice.

They went to Tenpenny's home about five and spent about two hours with Tenpenny's mother and the visit went well. His father was a way on business and was not able to be at home.Tenpenny had to work and wasn't able to be there but Bielema and Thomas went to the restaurant where he works and hung out.

Was told the day was a positive for the Hogs.

So he was supposed to tell the coaches if he'd be signing with Arkansas yesterday. Right?

"Good day," but he still doesn't seem to go out of his way to cater to the Arkansas coaching staff. I think he spent 3 hours with one of Alabama's coaches on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I just don't think "good day for the hogs" had anything to do with Tenpenny.

He wasn't even there for the in-home visit with Bielema and it was a 'positive' for the hogs? Come on...

Positive in a way they may no longer be wasting time recruiting him, I mean its cool he has a HS job and all, I think he would have mentioned "Oh, Thursday? I have to work" when they scheduled to do the in home.

Guess the other RBs move up a spot behind Collins on the board...

Yeah if that doesn't say he isn't coming to Arkansas then I don't know what to tell you. Spends three hours with an Alabama assistant coach earlier in the week but goes to track practice AGAIN when our coaches come to see him and then goes to work instead of the in-home. You can't tell me that there is a single restaurant in LR that wouldn't let a kid off for two hours to let him meet with the Razorbacks HC. I'm not buying it. He is and always was going to Bama. Time to throw everything we have ay Collins now.

$7.25/hr is too much to pass up cause the NCAA won't let athletes make money while in school, he has to make all he can now.
