2 things about the basketball team

1. It’s gonna be a hard transition for me going from the pace of Mikes offense to Muss’s offense. This game is sloooooowww.
2. Whitt’s shooting form makes me irrationally angry.

did you watch the other 2 games and preseason games?
I believe this team can play up or slow it down according to the opponent thus far.

This. It's defense first and we had a poor shooting night. more impressed with us not giving up 80 to bad teams

Thought the defense was the worst of the season tonight, luckily Montana is really bad and missed a ton of open looks.

They won their conference last year. Rebuilding this year, but they have a good program.

Montana is decent.
We didn't shoot the ball well but that put more pressure on our defense.

I wouldn’t say crushed.
We really didn’t put them away until late. We shot so poorly they were able to hang around all first half and we weren’t able to really run away with it in the second half until late.
It was by far our worst performance of the season. Definitely some things we need to work on. A win is a win though, and that’s all that matters.

The Rice game had a high pace, but the last two have been on par with the games like last years Florida game, just ugly slog fests.
At least we look like theres a plan, just missing shots. The offense doesn't exactly suit the players all that well. Its screaming for a guy like Barford. Jones, who is still a pretty good player, would be unstoppable if he just had some speed to take guys 1v1.
i like Muss alot, its just going to be weird transition year. The guys have clearly bought in and are playing hard. great defensive effort. still think we sneak into the tourney, though itll be interesting to see how we do once we play a team talented enough to really punish our size disadvantage.

I like the roster he has now.
Everyone seems to be in a rush to throw shade at Anderson still and I don't get it.
Why does Musselman need better players? He has excellent players on the roster right now.

It's nice to be able to nitpick another win because we only won by 18.
I have zero negatives about our current defense given the personnel. Those guys have sold out to play solid team defense and I love it.
