I don't have any hate for Little Rock. I don't mind Little Rock at all. I never go there, but not because I hate it. I just never have a good reason to go there anymore, unless I am duck hunting or something.

The real pathetic thing about this situation is that we have a festering fricking wound on our program that gets exposed about every two or three years. We have a great coaching staff and this is one more fricking idiotic Arkansas thing they have to deal with.

Get it over with already and lets move the frick on. Its so tiresome.

Yep. What I was talking about.

Our state doesn't put out many D1 prospects, but when the 'unclean' part of Arkansas produces a Greg Childs, a Bryan Jones, a Jarious Wright, a Chris Gragg, a Darren McFadden, a Bijohn etc, you sure are welcoming then.

I understand the "argument" against traveling to WMS by the football team & coaching staff because they have to treat it as an away game, even though it's called a home game.
I'd still just hate to see it destroyed, though.

We cant keep playing there because of memories though. It doesnt take away the Miracles on Markham. If Yankee Stadium could be torn down we can let go of an off-campus, dated stadium.

What's your point? Kids come from shitholes just as much as nice areas. Probably moreso.

Doesn't make the area they come from any less shitty.

Those kids don't give 2 shits about a game being played in Little Rock, and that's all that matters.

It's because they just don't know any better. How many of those guys move back south of Sheridan?

Nothing down there any longer. Poverty, that's about it.

The staff didn't have to take the job. They had other options, but they took the job and all that comes with it of their own free will.

The 'wound' is the separatism that NWA is harboring.

As far as I (and many others of the 'real' Arkansas) are concerned, NWA can pretty much GFY, if you are going to have that attitude. Join Missouri or something.

The rest of the state is dependent on NWA money, that is the reason the University is located where it is, the rest of the state is full of poors.

How many hang around Fayetteville years after they should have left and end up in the Washington County Jail?

This is what I say to the entire argument among Arkansas fans. It sounds like a frickin civil war, and we most definitely do not need this right now, or any time for that matter.

Long was correct about the entire state being Razorback fans, regardless of what university anyone attends/attended in the state, and I'll add regardless of what part of the state anyone is from - north, central, or south.

The arguing about it is old and tired. We're all Hog fans, and all support the U of A.

Camden as an example....

International closed their paper mill there in the late 80's or early 90's, I can't remember exactly.....anyway....at that time it was over 20k....now I would bet the population is lucky to be 12k, maybe?

ElDorado is shrinking....Fordyce used to be bigger...what are they now, 3A?

Ther is nothing there....people don't move there...they may grow up there, but they leave and never go back.

Dale, you're just talking shite for the sake of talking shite now.

'Arkansas' could get along fine without NWA.

And the reason the University was banished to the boondocks instead of the heart of the state had more to do with carpetbaggers than anything. NWA was just a poor as any place in the state at that time.
