If I get a vote make it the second game of the year. It would be to our advantage.

Coach Bryant, especially early on, used the Auburn game as an incentive to improve as the season progressed climaxing with Auburn. At that time bowl games were not even consider in the national championship polls. Moving the game earlier would actually serve our purpose better now with the play off system. Auburn would be smart to reschedule either Alabama or Georgia or maybe both. Playing early would probably benefit all the play off contenders.

Awbarn has already changed the date for their Georgia game if I am not mistaken. TV probably won’t let us change the date for our game because of “Rivalry Week” promotions. They like the end of the year battles with meaningful outcomes.

I’d be fine not playing it at all.
Realistically though something is going to have to give with rivalry games in division-less conferences. Going to be so incredibly dumb when say Michigan-Ohio St or Alabama-Auburn or Texas-A&M play each other two weeks in a row.

Yes. Fine with it, but would rather send Auburn to the Sun Belt.

That’s my favorite weekend in college football. But they’ve destroyed most of what I enjoy about it so might as well screw thanksgiving weekend up to.

I would be in favor of bama not playing auburn every year. I would rather play a bunch of different teams than play the same teams every year.

The beauty to me of college football, compared to the NFL, is to save the rivalry games for then end of the season.
Perhaps, I'm open for shuffling around a few other rivalry games throughout the season, but most every team has that one big rivalry game and that should be at their agreed upon date every season.
