Pass rush was incredible.

I was encouraged by the blitzing on that last drive.

We need to be blitzing the hell out of Nico, Thorne, Hawkins, etc.

Biggest issue is in-game adjustments and coaching. I understand the concept of keeping certain players in the pocket to avoid scrambles but you can't let them sit in the pocket and pick apart the soft zone coverage when you have MULTIPLE Freshmen in on defense.

You also have Malachi Moore saying play calls are coming in late. That's another coaching issue.

These are my biggest gripes with the defense. With that being said; folks also have to understand that these QBs have coaches helping them identify plays before the snap. It's very advantageous for the offense and why I think you see a lot of teams with historically great defenses look amateurish.

The last series was a huge adjustment. BAMA brought the house 3 plays in a row after getting torched on the prior drive.

That blitz package the final drive would’ve made Jeremy Pruitt nervous.

We were zero deep, full blitz that entire possession. That means we were in man across the board with no one to help deep if someone got beat.

It worked, but if you run that consistently against Nico/TN we will get torched.

I'd rather get torched quick a couple of times when it doesn't work than watch us give up 16-20 play 80 yard drives that burn up 8+ minutes of clock.

At one point we had two TF CBs playing.

I agree that it’s important to get pressure but I don’t think we need to show that particular package too much against a team with a viable passing game.

You shouldn't hire your friend to be a coordinator unless he is the best option in the country. DeBoer first allegiance in to the team and the school, not to Woemack. I remember Mike Shula hired his former coach as Offensive coordinator. They guy had left football and I believe was selling insurance. He should have hired the best person he could get.

You get tired of the coach speak where they say we need to do this and that better, but what we get is the same ole thing. Woemack is getting paid big bucks. All we are asking is for him to earn the money. If he can't then it falls on DeBoer.

Giving players and coaches stupid nicknames is juvenile bullshite. Criticize all you like but cut the grade school garbage. You're acting like a child.

This. I think refs should use a little discretion on those types of calls.
