2. Your last sentence lol. He’s established what looks like an incredible recruiting operation. In the regular season he’s 6-0 against Georgia LSU and Auburn. Made the playoff in year 2(on to the 2nd round).

And the team is extremely well positioned to succeed everywhere but the OL. I’ll leave RB out bc we had what we had and he’s signed Dear and the 5* kid this cycle. I believe even Coach Saban would have rathered his ex-players to feed the narrative that Alabama couldn't win then feed his team rat poison. We're in a one-off game. I guess that is where players or ex-players differ from fans. We usually fixated on what we're doing wrong to make better in order to have a different future result.

Damien is an actual alumni of Alabama and won with Alabama and dudes who have done nothing for the program, don't pay a bill besides brag about success.. are "ex-communicating" him. It's incredible

It's not that Damien said we couldn't win in the playoff. It's that he said, before the committee put us in, that other teams should be in over us. A former player spouting that shite could legitimately have influenced the committee to keep us out.

Okay yeah agreed here. I don't like that. The criticism is good but the balance is where he went too far.

I get that this midwest/north dominated media tries to guilt any SEC support, specially Alabama. However he can be balanced with criticism and then equally point to the imbalance with scheduling or lack of the same level of criticism for others.
