It wouldn't hurt my feelings to see the dome at 1/4 capacity.

Wouldn't accomplish anything, they are already trying to schedule home and home games etc.

Why? Wouldn't make for a very fun gameday atmosphere.

That atmosphere will last all of 15 minutes. Barring one of the biggest shockers in the history of sports, this game will play out much like the Alabama-Duke game in 2010. That was a 62-13 shellacking that was over midway through the first quarter.

Watching Bams scrimmage would be more interesting than this game

I've got 2 trips planned for September, otherwise I'd go.

I'd go if it was on Friday or Sunday night, or even Monday afternoon. I'm not interrupting my Labor Day weekend for a glorified scrimmage 3 hours from home.

If we are going by "exciting," than there isn't a game outside LSU or A&M worth going to in the regular season.

I’ll be in the area so I’m going but, if I wasn’t I probably watch from home.

Need to talk to the sauces anyway in person.

Meh itll be 75% full. We got next to no help from Viginia tech (2013) and West Virginia fans and still filled it up

Maybe my memory is hazy, but it seems the place was only about 80-85% full for West Virginia. There were several empty seats in my section from what I remember.

I'm passing on this one. If I'm throwing down the cash for a road-trip game, I'll do one where I get to come back back to Tuscaloosa.

It only adds to it that this will likely turn out to be a game that will only be competitive for a quarter. Not really interested in traveling and paying to stay in Atlanta for a game that won't be particularly interesting. Just being honest, this isn't a good matchup.

Per Linkedin, Atlanta has the second most alums in the country to Birmingham.

I'd imagine many folks like myself will take advantage of the proximity and liquid ticket market and enjoy not having to drive 6 hours for our home games, 90% of which is going to be an equally terrible game.

Oh hell yeah, if the game were in my backyard there's no way I wouldn't be there. That said a six-hour road trip and paying for a hotel room, I have to pass on that.

The 2010 game that was played at Duke was amazing for me. A 25-minute drive to see the game for me; there's no way I wasn't going to be there.

It'll be my 6 year old's first game. She's pretty excited. We are staying through the weekend and visiting the aquarium and eating at some good spots in the city.

MY wife is not real enthusiastic about going, and I am not allowed to go without her...something about what an arse I can be at the games??? But, I am working on her, since it is here, almost a shame not to go. Grab the train to and back, and I keep reminding her she has still not gotten to the new stadium.
So, I will be there probably, maybe....

Great opportunity to get into the new stadium for a cheap price. Plus a 2:30 cst kick off time allows fans to get back to Birmingham at a reasonable time.
