I hate rumors. Lots of rumors going around that ty may be hurt. To believe that rumor, you have to also believe that coach would keep an injured player in that jeapordizes r player and the team's season. Or do you believe that Ty may just struggle on making quick reads behind a terrible o line. This would seriously damage his draft stock.

So which is it?

Or do you think coach is headed to Michigan and doesn't give a rip. LOL

So many rumors out there.... Which ones are you believing?

It’s December. I think everybody is hurt to some extent. It’s not a “rumor” that Ty has a back issue. You can watch the training staff work on it on the sidelines during games. That issue has not been enough to keep him out, which is a 3 part decision. Ty’s pain management, the training staffs medical opinion, and the coaches decision that Ty in his current state gives us the best opportunity to win.

The “problem” is a lot deeper than that though and it’s exasperated by the run of good defenses we played down the stretch. To sum it up in one sentence though, defenses are attacking us a lot differently now than they did in early October.

The running game probably isn’t going to magically find itself. If we have any chance of winning this thing it will be on the back of great defense and special teams, and the passing game operating with the surgical precision it’s proven capable of at one point or another this year

I think if Ty can heal up and get back to mid season form before he got hurt, we have a chance. But back injuries are generally lingering and a couple weeks probably ain’t enough to get back to 100 unfortunately.

I’m going to naturally get my hopes up come game time but I would not bet money on us going the distance. But even an average performance could beat anyone but UGA and OSU I think.

I definitely think Ty has been hurt and that has contributed to some poor play but the big problem we have is coaching. Over the last two years there are clear patterns with this team due to absolute Shitt coaching.

Ty is hurt and if we pulled him for the SEC championship and still get blown out, we risk getting the FSU treatment from the committee.

OSU has scored 10 and 13 points against the two defenses they played with a pulse. I think we could even slog out a win against them.

I don’t know what to think about Georgia. They capitalized on short fields against us, but they basically threw the ball sideways like they always do. They don’t do anything special offensively besides keep the chains moving, which is easier when we’re missing what we were on defense in the SECCG

I think having everyone on the defense healthy is as important as having Ty healthy. It’s a unit strong enough to carry us against anybody at full strength. We have to get back to + margins in the turnover differential

It doesn't matter what we believe. What matters is they play next Friday night and all we can hope is that they are ready to go.

I went back and watched the 1st Oklahoma game this week. His exaggerated follow thru on his passes tells me not only is he hurt, he’s trying to over compensate.

When runningbacks can’t run for more than a yard before contact and receivers/rb are dropping 6 passes a game, there’s not going to be a whole lot of hope for the QB. Unless, he’s playing at Heisman level.

Good points, we have a shot against anyone. Maybe we get some bounces and breaks go our way and see what happens.

No you don't, thats not true at all.

Players play when there isnt additional risk every week on every team.

Ty could easily have a problem that causes pain and reduces his ability to throw effectively without having much additional risk of injury and is choosing to play to try to help the team.

Good point... Players play through pain all the time. As long as it doesn't reduce their performance, I'm ok with it.

Not going to consider the option that it’s December, teams now have a year’s worth of film on him and are better prepared for what he does well and he like many others are banged up but based on what the staff sees in practice every day he’s still the guy that gives the team the best chance to win?

Gotta be a significant injury or an idiot staff……

I assume you are a fan which means you have watched the games. They have shown live him getting a stimulator put on his back while on the bench. That really is not a rumor

I think his intent is to help the team.

The outcome... possibly not so much.

For two years I thought, why don't they put Ty in at least for a series, he can't do worse than Milroe (Tenn, Okla, Mich games). Early this year I still couldn't understand it because he was doing so well.

Now they need to bench him if he is not effective enough but it seems they are not going to do that either.
