I’m sorry to bring this news to your attention.
And this is a tough pill our fans refuse to swallow but they're gonna frick around and find out really quick when we start going through coaches like Charlie Sheen goes through whores.

Lol, no.
Nobody here is expecting us to run the table every year. And we didn’t freak out last week after a battle and a close loss.
What we are fed up with is the games where we completely shite the bed from the start and look clueless on how to rebound for an entire game. This has happened 2-3 times per year consistently and shouldnt be accepted as the norm.

We should stop worrying about termination because it is not happening. A capital strike would only serve to put us in a quagmire like Auburn has been in for half a decade. A year or two of capital strike on Harsin put their subsequent coach in a bad position and he just sort of gave up 2 years in.

I’ve made my last donation to the collective
The NIL collective? Well, to start with, I would never donate my money to pay players. With that money that player is getting this year, he'll be driving his new car next year when he's playing for a rival.
You're not wrong. But the most important impact will be when wealthy donors who write seven and eight figure checks tell the president and the BOT that they're turning off the money until changes are made.
Changes...plural. There's no way I'm letting Greg Byrne hire another football coach.

quote:You're not wrong. There was no logical approach to what we were dealing with injury-wise. We lost our center and one of our best run stoppers on D. The anger should be directed at the lack of planning around those deficiencies. Yesterday was a terrible gameplan on offense. The D gave us a chance and ST were solid. This offensive game planning needs to get corrected but once again everyone is overreacting.

We won 7 more titles after hiring Bill Curry, and for those of you not old enough to remember, that was worse
I'm old enough to remember that it took Mike Shula losing at home to Sylvester Croom and Mississippi State to get 6 of those titles.
That's about where we are now.

When you say corrected, you are talking about firing grubb right?

AU's first year HC went to UGA and beat a team we lost to at home. I am not sure the HC and his lame assistants that were with him at Udub have the "chest" (as Les Miles would say} to get it done in the SEC. With that being said, I dont know who one would hire. Last off season some of the good ones were hired at SEC schools. You have to marvel at UK and to some degree what is happening at AU and UF with first year head coaches.
The jury is still out on LSU but LK is not a first year HC in the SEC. I dont know enough about ARK at this point.

This staff just doesn't understand SEC culture.
Best way I can describe what I see is a golf analogy.
I can give a 5 handicap a plan to go shoot under par. If things go according to plan they will. They have enough raw talent they can deviate from the plan and do so, but less often.
But if anything goes wrong in the plan, the plan needs to be adjusted or they might shoot 80. Yesterday the wind was blowing and they punched the greens and it was an 85 (26-10).
Our coaching staff doesn’t seem to be very good at adjusting the plan.

If DeBoer doesn't fire Grubb, he's gonna screw around and get all the assistants fired. Because they all get fired when a HC gets fired.
If you don't think DeBoer can be fired, just wait and see what happens when this team ends up with 5 or 6 losses, followed by more losses next year.

I'll repeat it once more. The buck stops at the top. This is year 3 and you can point to half a dozen games now where the offensive gameplanning appears to have been done during a Thursday night blunt rotation.
