The same could be said for Jonah Williams, Damien Harris, Bo Scarborough...etc. I don’t understand the hate for Jalen. He has busted his arse for Alabama. Somebody came along who is better than him. It happens. But people can like Tua without hating Jalen.

Hell Tua almost got Jalen a ring in regulation by himself while turning the ball over once. Probably the most impressive thing we have seen.

Even more impressive to some people is that Jalen Hurts went 26 and 2 by himself. That, of course, is counting the one that Tua was kind enough to win for Hurts.
And to the guy that says you can like Tua and not hate Jalen, I don't see anybody hating on Jalen. He just sucks as a qb at this level. It's no sin or a crime. It's just reality.

Life is about choices. The only real choice is Tua or Jalen. It is red pill, blue pill level stuff. And Playstation over Xbox.

Jalen went 26 and 2 by himself? That kid is good. We should start him.
Who are the people who say that by the way? I haven't seen it. I feel like these are Voldemort like creatures that are never mentioned by name.

That was in response to your very own comment that Tua won the title game "by himself".
Hey, carry on with the silly and sarcastic jokes all you want to, but don't get offended when you get back the same silly kind.

I don't see a lot of hate for Jalen. We just want the best player to play.
26-2? That's roughly the same winning percentage of every QB starting with GMAC. It's not special.
We didn't win the 2016 national championship because we couldn't sustain drives, forcing the defense to play upwards of 100 plays. We don't win the 2017 without TUA. We can place both of these at least in part at the feet of Jalen's limitations. Do you want to win, or don't you?

Just realized:
One QB was 26-2
One QB completed 2nd and 26.
Tua is 13 and Jalen is 2
13x2=26.
That's some Ying and Yang shite. :shook:

Most people aren’t hating on him. But for some reason there are people who view people criticizing Jalen’s play as hating on him.

I mean, the game is in Orlando so we can meet behind that Citgo on Edgewater.
But not really, I'm out of shape now and so it's kind of a "win in 30 seconds" kind of thing
Also, Tom Rinaldi just said Bama has never lost a QB in a meaningful moment.
LIKE WHEN frickING MCELROY GOT CONCUSSED IN THE IRON BOWL AND AJ CAME IN AS A KID AND COULDN'T DO shite AND WE LOST TO THE CAMBACK. SURE, THAT WASN'T frickING MEANINGFUL

This is the best post I’ve ever seen. So simple, but defines this QB battle so perfectly.

Of course I want to win. I want Tua to start. What I don’t understand is why bash Jalen Hurts for being forced into trying to be something he isn’t. We lost the 2016 NC as soon as Kiffin left. Sarkisian did not know how to use Jalen. Sarkisian forgot all about our RBs as soon as Bo got hurt. That isn’t on Hurts. I freely admit that he has severe limitations as a QB. But the kid busted his arse for us and when the switch was made he was the first one celebrating with Tua.

I respect that and appreciate his hard work but we have another player that is infinitely better than he is so the Hurts era should end and it should end now. Tua needs those reps that are gonna go to an inferior Hurts. It's that simple.

We lost the 2016 National Championship because of bad recruiting at the QB position.
The options were...
Blake Barnett: below average
Jalen Hurts: below average QB, great athlete
Cooper Bateman: dear God
Hurts won the job out of the 3 stooges, and our defense/coaching/run game covered up our QB deficiencies and carried us to 2 National Title Games. Now Tua is here, and this wasn’t even a competition, but more of a Saban mind-game to keep 3 QBs on the roster in case of injury.
