Kirby Smart got a little bit lucky when his starting QB was injured right out of he gate. JMO but perhaps UGA wouldn't be in the position they are today with the other guy starting.

That's fine and everything, but they have had to hide Fromm's passing all year just like we did with Jalen last year and look what happened when they played against a really good defense.

Tua has to practice better and prove to Saban he isn't turnover prone. I think he will prove that in the spring.

Our best hope is that they seriously change the offensive play calling and game planning to better suit Hurts.

The playbook would be thin, extremely thin if that happens only bc JH is not a pro style drop back passer.
Also mentioned on another site is CNS not too pleased with the play of the QB. Maybe TT gets a look during the brief break, maybe he doesn't. It would be easier to keep the play book as it is and plug in a person who can run the pro style offense. jmo

Imagine how divided this team would be going into the game if we had a permanent QB change

All the WRs supposedly prefer Tua, and I doubt any other position group would be going at it over who's starting at QB.

If Saban thinks Jalen is the better player, then Jalen should play, but don't give me this it'll disrupt the locker room bs. I know our guys want to win, and they'll play and prepare hard regardless of who's the QB.

I believe Nick Saban is as frustrated with the current passing game more anybody. I am very interested to see the direction he selects to attempt to resolve. At this point you would be better with less receivers in the game and more blockers and just try and run it. A pass is a wasted down and puts you behind in the chains over and over again.

So Tua is a turnover machine in practice?

He could run the same offense. Y'all act like he's a statue.

What if the root of the issue is lack of QB development?

A backup winning it all is not impossible. Lest I remind you of what unthinkable things Cardale Jones did to our defense.

What does mean for next year, 2 QB system?

Tua still backup?

Tua starting?

Saban ALWAYS has a plan, how does he keep Jalen & Tua happy next year, and especially keep Tua from transferring, he won't sit 2 more years, imo, especially with Kelly at UCLA?

He could, but Daboll still changes the offense when he comes in. Even the route trees are different for Tua.
