Don’t be so hard on Milroe.

I'm a little old school I don't like blaming players. At the end of the day it was the coaches that allowed Milroe to screw us. But you won't generally hear me say that. Example I'll say Hill is our rb but won't say Jam sucks.

Saban left quite a mess with the LANK BS.

Saban didn't allow a player to tell the coaching staff he wasn't coming off the field. I can't tell you all of the stats and records that were broken last year by this coaching staff.

It's almost as if Deboer is still learning how to coach.

Felt the same way when they were playing for a scholarship. These young men are paid professionals now. So the NFL fandom rules are acceptable now in my opinion. If you're eating up a substantial slice of the salary cap and underperforming then you're called a bum and the fans boo your arse until you are off the roster.

If they wanted to be treated like kids playing a child's game, they shouldn't have put their hands out saying "MONEY PLEASE!"

Saban had issues. We had guys fighting on the sideline in Atlanta.

The LANK crap was a millstone around DeBoer's neck all last year.

If we can’t run the ball next year (I’ve completely lost all hope for 2025) then I am out on Coach Kalen being successful. Done.

And yet we are seeing more of the same issues from Deboer.

What was one of his issues here and at Washington? Not having his teams prepared for games. Losing to teams he shouldn't.

I 1000% want Deboer to do well but am tired of seeing bad coaching decisions.

DeBoer caught lightning in a bottle at Washington with Penix and those receivers. I’m not convinced that he and Grubb are the offensive gurus that we think they are. The product on the field this year has been subpar. Not just that, they just can’t handle the pressure of being on the stage that is Alabama football:

And you're turning a blind eye to the fact that Saban was literally one play away from losing to three embarrassingly bad teams the previous year with the added luxury of 40+ players that transferred or went pro. The team was heading in this direction with Saban at the helm.

Oh good Lord. Look guys, I'm sad Saban isn't our coach anymore too but I'd really rather not wander through the wilderness for 30 years again because we can't find his clone to come coach our team. If we were to fire DeBoer, who's out there who's a sure-fire improvement over him that might come?

That's why he retired.

So you're saying he didn't lose?

Tell me why we slowed down our last drive? Why did we almost use up the entire time left in the game when we were behind? There has to be a good reason right?

A good arse kicking by our #1 rival, which is currently without a head coach at the moment will probably do it for me.

Thanks

The only thing I can come up with, goes back to someone saying DeBoer believes he can outscheme anyone. I think he and Grubb honestly believed they would go straight down the field and be able to chew clock down to 0

I would’ve liked to have seen some faith in the defense considering they’ve carried this team the last few games.

Hopefully Deboer and company can turn it around. Im sure he thought we'd score and there would be no time left for OU to score but you aren't guaranteed to get ahead and OU didnt show they could drive the field. Why we didn't use our running game while we were ahead (run clock) instead of when we were behind idk.

Because if we had moved the ball down the field and scored quickly and then left them enough time to do the same thing and win the game on the final play, you'd be complaining about how we didn't eat up the clock on our last drive.

Grubb tries to be the smartest guy in the room and sometimes ends up outsmarting himself. And it cost us yesterday. It also could’ve easily cost us in several other games.
