This. Germ had a guy beat on a deep post. Ty tried to put it right on him instead of throwing it so Bernard could run under it.

He is twitchy and hyper. He is an overthinker, thus all the late play changes, and a perfectionist. He gets in his own head. Maybe his ability to change the play should be limited. He does better in two minute drills when his instincts take over. As others have said, play design for blitzes is terrible.

Your on point with this, ty has to change things up. He needs to keep some of those read options, he's not milroe fast but ty is a really good hard nosed runner, he could make D's start having to play his run and then he could get them to bite and hit slants over the middle like tua used to. DC's really haven't had to prepare for his run game all year, I guess Deboer doesn't want to risk him getting hurt ,but damn if he doesn't get hit more trying to pass than he does running with our poor pass protection.

There is no way he could play with a herniated disk. And if by some weird miracle concoction of drugs and physical therapy, it would be coaching malfeasance to actually play him with a herniated disk.
Now, he might have a bulging disk or a back muscle issue.

The issue for Ty is that 98% of the season we have absolutely 0 running game. Our best WR is a headcase that wears fingernail polish. Cuevas was injured.
Put Ty on the field this season with Lacy and Amari like 2012, Ingram, Richardson, and Julio like 2009, Henry and Ridley like 2015, Najee, Smith, Ridley, Jeudy, and Ruggs like 2017, or Najee, Smith, Waddle like 2020, and he’d be a runaway Heisman candidate and as heralded as Tua, Bryce, Mac, and McCarron.
Ty’s only issue is he’s playing with some turds.

Blame the OC, the OL, the RB, insult the WRs... but for the love of the Lord do not criticize the QB!

I guess they're just wanting to keep the games competitive instead of blowing everybody on the schedule out.

Biggest problem is cant hit a deep ball and lack of running game. Those things take the pressure off and open up so much more.
