What are your expectations for our RBs this year?

Who leads the team is carries/yards? Touchdowns?
Does Yeldon remain the starter all year? What do you expect from Henry? Where do those two leave Drake?
Is there gonna be any noticeable difference with a Lane ground game than what we are used to?
I know a lot of this depends on out Oline play. But we have so much talent at RB this year and I'm giddy to see them in action.

I don't know if it is the homer in me, but I think we will have two running backs(Yeldon & Henry) with 1k yards. I see Drake being used similar to the way Arkansas used Felix Jones and Nudie making a couple of key catches in some goal line situations.

Henry will be the starter before game 4 and will lead every category statistically. HE TAKES THE NATION BY STORM.

Give the three yardage totals.

The way Saban has been praising Henry's work ethic during Spring practices, I see no reason why he can't jump Yeldon. I love Yeldon and he is a great back, but I don't think he'd be capable of making the kind of plays Henry did during the Sugar Bowl. If on either those touchdown plays we replaced Henry with Yeldon, does anyone think Yeldon scores?

Give the three yardage totals.
Yeldon - 170 carries for 1070 yards (6.3 YPC) and 12 TDs
Henry - 160 carries for 1088 yards (6.8 YPC) and 10 TDs
Drake - 110 carries for 814 yards (7.4 YPC) and 8 TDs

Even with 14 games that's a higher YPG average than we had in any previous year in the Saban era.

212.3
227.5 in 2012
214.46 in 2011
215.07 in 2009

There are more than three RBs that will get carries.

Yep.
And for the record, my yardage guesses were for a 15 game season. Possible now with the playoffs. Am I saying or predicting we play 15? No. But we certainly could.

I was assuming, given your predictions, that another 224 total yards would easily come from Tenpenny, Jones, Fowler, and Sims to top 2012.

Potentially. Though I'm not sure Fowler sees anything other than a few FB runs near the goalline or in short yardage situations. Then you have to account for sacks, and I have a bad feeling we're gonna see a lot of sacks early in the season.

TJ Yeldon will remain the starter, but I think Derrick Henry will push the hell out of him. Yeldon really had no threat to replace him as #1 in 2013 and I think he got complacent. Yeldon is a good back, just needs to stop fumbling and see the field better. Wouldn't surprise me to see Yeldon/Henry produce like Lacy/Yeldon.

This is exciting. I think 2008 was maybe my favorite year for offense. We ran first--maybe because of JPW. We punished people, wore them down. We're going to run, and we're going to win by running.
Maybe with a new QB, and a stable of good RBs, we'll return to that this year.
It could be glorious.

I have only one expectation: Hold on to the effing football.
edit...one more expectation...learn how to pick up an effing blitzing pass rusher.

Yeldon, Henry, & Drake... exciting times. Just hope the o-line opens the holes for 'em.
Probably the best trio in all of cfb.
