I thought AHM was supposed to tell his side of the story that went down between him and blacklab or Bamachine leading to the end of WoollyAl before coming back ? Lets hear it AHM. You gonna tell us, or are you working on the book ?

I’ve told this story many times.
Taking over WoollyAl was more or less a middle of summer and nothing else better to do challenge. I went three straight summers where I would log in to Shaggy and pester blacklab. Each time it fell on Bamachine and I think he was opposed.
At the point where blacklab said frick it and gave me access/control of the board, the powers that be panicked and took the site down. I never killed that site - but the reaction to me being put in charge did

Was it Bamachine or Hannibal Lector MD that threw the fit ? Or both ? Almost has to be Hannibal because Bamachine seemed kinda cool, and Hannibal was a douche. I could see Hannibal taking his ball and going home. Either way thats messed up- they blamed you in the fallout.

Could’ve been Hannibal, although I know I spent time trying to convince bamachine and he was opposed.
blacklab told me there was a panic after I took over. Hannibal might’ve been the one who pulled the plug. I tried to get blacklab to help me with an alternative board once the original was taken down, even offered to pay. He declined.

I think Bamachine had some medical issues in the end, and somehow Hannibal got the keys because Bamachine was done with it all.
Whatever... good to hear your side of it- sounds like sour grapes from one of those two to me.
Anyhow, I used to build the weekly practice report there during the season, and TidalSurge, Myself, Stalker, and a few others built the "invisible" recruiting page. The one you needed 200 post to see on the homepage. It was a darn good recruiting board that had all the sauce from every chef.

I have watched you get banned from every Bama board that I was on and that goes all the way back to the Tide Sports days. Quite a remarkable achievement.

It wasn’t so much “killing” WoollyAl as removing it from life support. Wasn’t much left at the end. But for a long time the recruiting area was the absolute best.
