Shane Lee is about to biscuits short of a nose tackle

He looks stocky as hell because he is carrying around 243 pounds or so on what looks like a 5'11" frame. Short and stocky, looking like a bowling ball out there. He isn't gonna be run over by SEC running backs this year. I love the way he hits the hole and attacked his gaps with no hesitation. I admit that I was moderately upset about losing those two five star guys but we are very fortunate to have Shane Lee. He is at least as good as those two and probably better.

Moses weighs like 230 lbs. He is not nearly big enough to be an every down OLB in our defense. (False) Our OLBs are usually in the 260+ range. (False) They are essentially DEs. (False)

Official roster shows Moses at 235 lbs and our hybrid OLB/DEs all under 260:
Anfernee Jennings 259
Terrell Lewis 252
Christopher Allen 250
King Mwikuta 243
Jarez Parks 239
Kevin Harris 222

Read a detailed review of Tennessee/GSU from a Tennessee writer

Would love a link if you have it.

Rocky Top Bottom : Jesse Simontonm, Volquest

Tennessee’s inside linebackers had real problems recognizing GSU’s option offense. They rarely filled the right gaps and the H-back (who just asked as an extra guard) constantly confused them. Henry To’oto’o has explosive traits and tackled well, but appeared to get pulled due to a few missed assignments. No matter, Will Ignont, Shanon Reid and Jeremy Banks weren’t any better. As a whole, the group got picked on in the passing game, allowing five catches (four for first downs) and a touchdown.

I would honestly love to know coach Saban and Golding's approach for the middle of our defense Saturday. To say Lee and Harris were rock solid in their reads is just an understatement. I haven't seen big guys stopped in their tracks after being hit like that since Reuben.

But Cutcliffe came out in the option and attacked the middle of our defense. He opens the 3rd quarter in 5 wide-set with an empty backfield. That was a lot for 2 TF ILBers to take in. I thought it was a great first test.

Is Pruitt trying to look and dress like Phat Phil? He wears that pumpkin like shirt that fat Phil used to wear. It looks like something a pregnant woman would wear.
