People seemed to have forgotten who easily Henry got tripped up.

You are getting downvoted but people do indeed have rose-colored glasses on in regards to Henry in 2013 and 2014. He was clearly a talented runner but there were multiple instances in those seasons, especially 2014, where Henry would trip at the line of scrimmage for minimal gains. My best friend and me have been texting back and forth during Alabama games for over a dozen years and that was the common refrain in 2014 with Henry when he struggled to get to the second level.

Yup. Gibbs is one of the best RBs in the NFL. Dude is like prime Alvin Kamara.

He didn't even hit 1000 yards here. Unconscionable

The air raid era of Saban was definitely my least favorite

He was totally wasted prior to that

I for one loved seeing DH kiling folks on kickoff special teams. The slight look we got into seeing him as a defender. Unfortunately we had a lot of mouths to feed back then. I don't hate it minimized his wear and tear, but dude is a beast.

Even as a big BRob defender, I think he was used appropriately. He's a good at a lot of things, great at none.

He got a lot of hate on here alone, was said he stood little chance at starting over Trey Sanders(after injury) in 2021. He fumbled 3 times in 5 years, yet people tried to saddled him with a "fumble problem".

I think he was under appreciated, but appropriately used.

He’s a starting tailback on an NFL playoff team. He was always good but behind other NFL starters at tailback most of his career.

Where are Damien Harris and Bo Scarborough today?

Damien Harris was actually a full-time NFL starter for the Patriots and was having a fairly solid career until a neck injury ended it prematurely. People forget that he averaged over seven yards a carry in 2017 as a starter while having a 1,000-yard season in the process.

"Where is TJ Yeldon today?"

I've got to stand up for Yeldon here. Like Trent Richardson, he was an outstanding college running back, who just didn't thrive in the NFL.

In my opinion, the most underappreciated play in the Saban era is the one that took place on the play before McCarron's 45 yard touchdown pass to Cooper in the 2012 SEC Championship Game. It was a 3rd and 5, and if we didn't get this first down, that long pass doesn't happen. If the long pass play doesn't happen, Georgia likely wins, and we don't win the National Championship against Notre Dame...Georgia does instead.

Yeldon made this first down happen through sheer strength and will power:

Yeldon's Underappreciated Run

Huge, huge play, and I never hear it mentioned.

Roll Tide!

I remember arguing with somebody -- maybe it was on this site -- about Damien Harris starting over Najee Harris in 2018. While Najee definitely showed tremendous potential at that point and was flashier, Damien was the more dependable back who also was a breakaway threat any time he touched the ball.
