Pass could have been caught that said that was a difficult catch is was behind him and low. Jalen just had 2-3 passes that were inaccurate last night. That was one of them

He had to throw it behind him/back shoulder because a LBer moved right into the throwing lane as he was throwing it. Would have gotten batted or picked had he thrown it where he wanted.

Yeah just thought it was low. Just thought if it was waist high instead of thigh high it would have been a catch. Jalen played awesome. He has become what we hoped he could but I still think he can get better. Only other passes he seems to consistently have problems with seem to be the behind the line sideline passes. He always seems to throw that behind the receiver. Other than that Jalen can win a NC at Alabama His improvement is undeniable. Hopefully he doesn’t regress at any point this season and his success doesn’t go to his head.

PFF says Red Morgan was one of our top guys. I thought he gave up one of the big plays late, so he must have had a lot of good coverage too.

Hard to take much stock in their individual grades. Morgan is very stiff in coverage and is probably the worst at man coverage of any of our regulars.

Finally found a clip of this play. One of my favorites from the game. Sky is the limit for Mbakwe:

Great use and non use of hands...especially for a former QB.

Mbakwe's PBU was one of the cleanest I've seen in awhile for a Bama corner.
