Fantastic news on Soccer. Thanks for bringing the heat Alabama_Fan. It also looks like swimming is bringing in some talent. I would like to hear from our resident swimmer though on what he thinks about it and how it stacks with previous years recruiting.

Alabama Cross Country Set for Friday Morning’s NCAA South Region Championships
The Crimson Tide will be racing for NCAA Championships team berths at the John Hunt Cross Country Course in Huntsville, Ala.
The Alabama men's and women's cross country teams are set to race for an NCAA Championships berth at Friday's NCAA South Region Championships in Huntsville, Ala. The women race at 8:30 a.m., while the men toe the line at 9:30 a.m. at the John Hunt Cross Country Course.
Both the men and women raced on the John Hunt Course earlier in the season, with the men taking the team title and the women placing third. There were no regional championships last year due to COVID-19 schedule interruptions.
The top two team finishers from each regional automatically advance to the NCAA Championships, which will be held Saturday, Nov. 20 in Tallahassee, Fla., with the rest of the field being filled by at-large bids. After teams have been determined, 40 additional individuals per gender are selected to compete based on finish at their respective regional championships (38 are automatic selections; two are at-large).

Page 8, 3rd post i did an overview, and linked to our commits/signees. Quick overview, women doing fairly well, men are not doing as well compared to the last decade. Transfer portal got us hard, and we're not pulling in relay point scorers to replace them... yet.
Relays are double the points of individual events, and it's really been what has fueled our ascension to the top 5/10/15 success we've had of late.
If any of y'all ever have any questions about the sport, even not bama related, feel free to ask away. I'll try and answer them the best i can, in a manner non swimmers could understand.
