I wonder if Nate will push any of the younger bigs out. I just can't see Fleming and Smith running the floor well enough to fit his system.

Really? I thought I remembered offense was Fleming’s game.
Also, depth-wise, this is just not the year to push out bigs.

And I’ve never had a problem with Galin’s effort.. I think Oats is the type of guy who can work with anybody who is giving 100%.

"Bigs" as we have had them lately don't fit what we are going to be doing.

Boy, I bet Oats wish he had a freshman Donta Hall coming in this year. My gosh the damage that could have been done there.

I think that Hawkins kid will start over Galin or Javian. He is much more of a fit, but we need to keep them 2 for depth.

Just in terms of raw skillset, I think our roster is a pretty damn good fit if Kira returns to what Oats wants to do.

Like I said earlier, can you imagine him inheriting the 2009 team or the 2016 team?

My gawd.

It is, but he's slow and can't shoot from the outside. Same with Galin.

That's why I'm curious to see what happens. It'd definitely be a risk, but maybe he thinks he can get in guys that can run better. The fact he immediately offered a big that can run the floor shows me he sees it as an issue.

No one really knows much about JDF, but I could see Galin and Giddens both being guys Oats appreciates because they both give pretty good effort despite being physically limited in areas of their games.

I'm pretty sure Giddens will be taking his talents elsewhere. He's in the portal and it doesn't seem like there are any folks trying to rescue him

I didn't make a list, and I have no idea who you are. I don't know what you said, and I don't care what you "meant." I'll just reiterate that I get tired of people turning on our players when they don't really know what the player is thinking.

But you were the one misrepresenting what many said. Most of us said if the attitude was not right to let them leave while also admitting that we would love to keep them if they had the right attitude.

You ran with the "why yall trying to run everyone off" while that was a complete misrepresentation.

Continue with your virtue signalling.

Y’all need to slow your roll a little bit. There’s going to be a STEEP learning curve for these guys. And a bit of one for Nate too. I’ll be thrilled to death to make the Dance next year but I’m not holding my breath. I don’t think y’all are allowing for the huge culture change, philosophy change, everything. There’s going to be some growing pains. It’s inevitable.

They entered the transfer portal they turned on themselves.

This. Pretty sure Petty is going to wish he left when he cant play lazy and switch defenders when his man decides to leave his area.

Multiple people said they wanted player such and such to leave. If that wasn't you, then I wasn't talking to you, and I'm still not.
