Yeah, I wasn't really directing that at you.

I guess I'm just not that worried about it either way. It seems like we'll get him, but who knows? I don't know why he hasn't committed yet. I assume he has his reasons. It would be great to add him to this class, but I don't think he's a must get or anything. Maybe he's heard Bruner might return? I don't know how much playing time he'll get if we have Wilson, Frenchy, Bruner, and (sometimes) Gary playing the 5.

Fwiw: BOL post: "Bediako is all Bama." I asked via DM if he had an inside scoop. Reply: "Yes."

Bruner is already a 5th year senior so I don't see him coming back. Bediako's skill set doesn't overlap with much of Tchikou's so they could easily play together, but I guess I could see him being a little hesitant about competing with Gary and Wilson for minutes.

I'd be surprised if Oats plays two "bigs" at the same time often. I know Tchikou can shoot a little, but I think when he's on the floor, he'll be playing the 5 spot.

Yeah, I see that as more if a situational thing. Like how Brunner barely play last game, because Maryland didn't have any bigs. It's good to have the pieces for any situation. Just don't expect to see it much.

I am sky high on him as a player so I'm biased, but I just don't see Tchikou being that limited. Unless he's just a complete disaster on defense, in which case he probably won't play at all, I think he's going to offer a ton of lineup flexibility.

A 6'9" center averaging 18+ points and 7+ rebounds... fricking right I'll take him. And he still has 2 years of he's immediately eligible (which it seems like all transfers are now. Maybe I missed a rule change).

While Mitchell can shoot, he scores most of his points from posting up. Not sure how good of a fit we would be for what he does. If he wants to play in more of an NBA style then we would of course be a good fit, but if wants to still be more of a traditional post up type player then the big 10 would probably be his best fit.

Here is a highlight video of his, as you can see, he is a great post up player.

I don’t think Bediako is anywhere close offensively. He will need a year IMO to develop that. Tchikou is going to be a stud. The only negatives for Tchikou is Shot selection isn’t he best. But he is pretty damn good everywhere else offensively

So rumors are we lead for both Myreon Jones and Nimari Burnett.

I don’t think we can take both and Bediako.

Be interesting to see if Someone in addition to Rojas transfers. If we can only have 1 between Jones and Burnett give me Jones. He is a 40% 3pt shooter for multiple years now.

The only sense I can make of that is either that we "lead" insofar as this is where both of them would prefer to transfer to, or they are contingency plans for if JQ and/or Shack decide to go pro. Because aside from Rojas or possibly KAH I don't see anyone transferring, and it would be strange to replace Rojas and KAH with two pure guards. Our front court depth next season would be Gary, Tchikou, Wilson, and Bediako. We'd be two injuries and a little foul trouble away from Ellis or Primo having to defend the post.
