So long “headshot”. I want to be positive and remember the things he did well, but...

Sooo many open looks from 3 off of offensive rebounds and perfectly ran plays that he missed.

I may be in the minority but I hate to hear Forbes is leaving. He was forced to play last year before he was ready. I think he has a lot of potential and could be a big contributor when he was a junior or senior.

Guess Forbes felt he wouldn’t see the floor with all the guards we brought in. I’d much rather Smith, Reese, or Javian left

Yeah, I'm not shocked he's leaving, but I'm a little surprised he's first to go. I kind of figured it would be Galin or Davis. They seem like the worst fit for the system. Maybe Petty is coming back.

Wish him the best, and am still appreciative of his effort this season, regardless.

He's also the least likely returning scholarship player to get significant playing time next season. That's not because Galin, Davis, and Reese are anymore deserving of minutes, but our guard/wing depth is still a lot better than our frontcourt depth even with Bruner coming in and Rojas healthy. Oats indicated they were going to have the conversations about how much playing time guys could expect to have next season, so Forbes was probably told he won't play anymore than he did last year and may even play less.
If someone else transfers I will start letting myself think Petty is coming back. Right now we have room for everyone coming in assuming Kira and Petty are gone.
