UConn, Cincinnati, Dayton, Minnesota, New Mexico, South Alabama and Tulane make up the finalists for Western Michigan transfer Brandon Johnson. No decision timetable just yet.

15 point per game scorer who also grabbed eight boards per game.

I assume we never even contacted him if we aren't on this list and South Alabama is.

Villanova’s entire staff, led by head coach Jay Wright, will conduct their virtual call/visit today with Rice transfer Trey Murphy III, he told @Stockrisers.

Pittsburgh and Iowa State have done virtual visits with him as well.

I hope we get in on him as a backup plan. He isn’t as good as Bruner IMO but he is better than what we got currently.

Jordan Bruner would be so freakin’ huge. That would give us Bruner, Javian, & Rojas all ahead of Galin & Reese. It doesn’t matter how many PGs-SGs-SFs we get, if Galin & Reese are part of the rotation again next season, we’ll be a bubble team or worse once again. Galin & Reese are shite-poor pitiful players.

Galin isn’t a terrible defender, he’s just useless on offense. He’s not a good player but you have to respect his effort

His defense is maybe decent I guess, it’s never stood out to me. He’s like this...
Athleticism: F
Hands: F
Shooting: F
Passing: F
Dribbling: F
Post Moves: D-
Defense: D
Rebounding: F

I don’t want him anywhere near a team I cheer for lol

Anyone remember that time Alex Reese scored 14 straight points vs Norfolk State?

Reese is capable of a big season next year if he can stay healthy and put it all together. He is a very good fit offensively for Oat's system.

I just want a big man that can defend and rebound, surely we have enough 3 point shooters?

I just can’t get pulled in by Reese hitting 3 or 4 3pointers every 8th game and loafing on both ends of the floor

I dont think Reese is gone. Kid shed a lot of pounds last year. Hopefully he continues to work.

We could keep Reese who can shoot and still get a big who is a good rebounder and defender. There aren't a lot of 6’9 240 lb guys capable of shooting 38% from three, i dont think you can have too many three point shooters either.

Reese is a decent rebounder he was 3rd on the team in rebounds and only averaged like 22 minutes a game.

Some of y'all are a little over the top negative about Reese. He has his faults, mainly defensively, but he's a mismatch on the other end of the court too. He's also one of the most supportive and vocally pro-bama guys on Twitter on the team.

I know everyone loves a scapegoat, but he had some big games, and will be a big part of the rotation, if he doesn't transfer.
