Oats killin it.

t would be IMO....
Kira
JQ
Petty

Rojas/Reese
That is a very small lineup. I realize Oats has said he likes to play 4 at the perimeter, but Petty is 6-5 or 6-6 max, and Rojas is 6-7 or 6-8 max. That's a pretty damn small lineup

If they shoot 3s well and aggressively attack boards/box out, size doesn't matter

I hope it happens but why on earth would he get a waiver

John Wooden's first nc team at UCLA was small.

Okeke is about the same size as Rojas (6'7 225) and was Auburn's five last year.

I doubt he does unless there's more to the story that we don't know.

Cause everyone gets waivers these days, Doug. Told it would be due to fact that he/his family never found to have taken money from Book Richardson, yet suffered emotional distress due to public nature of investigation/stories, etc.
According to Jeff Goodman..its a bullshite reason but if it works Idc.

Not sure but I think Kira, Bolden, Petty, Quinerly would all get about 30 minutes a game, who starts out of them isn't that important, they will all play a ton.
Quinerly would probably be the main ball handler when when Kira goes out but play the two mostly. I think Bolden plays mostly the two and Petty plays mostly the 3 due to him being a pretty good rebounder and the worst ball handler of the four of them.
I think your right, hopefully Quinerly or Bolden are ok with coming off the bench. I doubt either of them transferred thinking they wouldn't start. Hopefully they will understand that they'll still get plenty of minutes, so it doesn't matter who starts.

I agree but try telling that to a female.

@RollHoopsRoll just said “Good chance he gets the waiver too”

When is the last time we got a basketball commitment that wasn’t because of Pettway? I guess Rosemond helped with Mack but I really can’t remember.

AW HELLLLL......I more hyped about this team than the Collin team.

I'm not expecting much from the kid early. Oats offense is all about feel and space and quick decisions and JellyFam had a terribly difficult time grasping things at Nova.
Glad to have him, anything we get next year will be gravy though IMHO.

I'm not saying he couldn't play the 5, but I think we can both agree that he is better suited for the 4.
But if Oats decides he wants to play small ball, and try to outscore everyone, then we now have the personnel to give it a try. I personally would would like to see a nice rotation between Kira, Bolden, Quinerly at the guard spots to keep all of them fresh the whole game. But if he wants to go small ball, then I'm all for it since he knows way more about the game than I do.

I don't think 4 guards on the floor at once will be our main set but we probably will use it in certain situations. With Quinerly, Lewis, and Bolden on the floor at once that would be basically a lineup with 3 PGs, we could play super fast in certain situations when needed.

I think he a lot more suited for Oats style of play than what he was asked to do at Villanova. He is an A+ ball handler and passer, but probably a C when it comes to shooting the three. Villanova is mostly about the 3 ball, Oats offense is mainly about playing fast and getting out in transition, which suits Quinerly perfect.

That would definitely be fun to watch.
