Absolutely. Must rebound. And will be tough playing with smaller lineup. One of the 5 bigs will have to step up. No question. If we cannot get average production from them then we will be in for a very long year.

My comments were from a roster management perspective. I’m more concerned about not having the guards to play the pace Oats wants to run.

EDIT: I also think the concerns about not having a rim protector are overblown. Oats could’ve kept Giddens if that was a priority to him.

The good news is that some of our non bigs can rebound well. Rojas, and Reese are both capable of getting 7+ rebounds. Petty and Jones are good rebounders for guards.

Obviously it's just practice, but has anyone noticed the gray trim/crimson jersey combos during the last regime in practices?

Would love to see us ditch the "tusk" look on the shorts from last year.

It would be super cool to get some of this gray incorporated on occasion to shake things up. I remember gottfired would do it on occasion. Still, we need a fresh look to go with our new coaching & different style of play.

Hit the reset button on all that shite coach Oats!

Nick Nurse, another great coach from the midwest (Iowa).

If Byrne ever leaves, can we steal Iowa State's AD?

Not sure what leads you to say that about Reese. He’s been pretty bad on the boards thus far.

I wasn’t joking about his leaping ability.

Story time! Long story short: Traveled 5 hours from Rochester NY to NJ, plus a train ride, to follow through with a PLANNED workout with Jahvon Quinerly from Villanova. He was a no show. No communication or anything. Simply just did not show up. Time to earn my respect ??

Apparently JellyFam blew him off.

Can I just say that I hadn't read the thread in a while and went through reading the last 6-7 pages and this thread is frickin fantastic.

Great breakdowns, knowledgable chalk talk, no over the top homer nonsense, discussion about Pearl and Auburn without any 4th grade "dur cheater booger" stuff.

Just all around frickin fantastic. Feels good to have some positivity around here again.

This is actually the best thread on the board. It's amazing what can be accomplished when you take FOGs out of the equation

Dude....Reese looking thin in those pics. Probably down 20lbs from the Norfolk State game and probably 30lbs from when he arrived on campus.

Really proud of him and Javian. Them losing weight shows they are bought in IMO.
