I didn't like Dazon and I didn't like Shannn Hale for the same reasons. We can blame coaches or whatever, but players can also take their fair share of blame.

As much as I would’ve loved the immediate winning Pitino would’ve brought us, it’s a great thing Byrne ignored the fans and didn’t hire him

Dazon is officially gone, Avery Jr is officially gone. Half of our UAH coed intramural squad is gone. Let’s cut ties with Galin & Herb and it’s like early Christmas for me

Considering how much shite Pitino's programs have been involved in over the course of his coaching career the only way he has been blissfully unaware of all of it is if he just didn't want to know and always had his head in the sand.

Oh Yeah. Definitely glad we got Oats. I think we made the best hire.

Coach Ya mentioned in the CBB trial.

Don’t you have to actually get a player to play for you to be in involved in a pay for play scandal?

A lot of that was probably hearsay. I will offer up the defense that Pettway was put on our top targets here, so Ya’s recruits may not have been getting as much attention from Avery. Still he didn’t get us even serious consideration from anyone other than Diante Smith.

Ya landed Tevin Mack, but that’s the only one I know of

After watching him today, Alabama just extended an offer to top-ranked junior Jalen Green, a source told @Stockrisers.

Alabama is one of approximately 15 schools that has reached out to Cole since he went into transfer portal along with others like UConn, Arkansas, Seton Hall, Oklahoma State, St. John’s, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Boston College, Colorado State, Washington State, Butler, Murray State and California.

Alabama will be the first school he visits. The only other visit he has set up thus far is one to UConn May 9.

“Right now, I haven’t decided which school I like the most,” Cole said. “I just know who’s been talking to me the most — UConn, Alabama and Arkansas’ been coming around, Seton Hall, schools like that. But I haven’t decided which school I like the most.”

In addition to meeting with Hodgson, Cole has also talked on the phone with Alabama head coach Nate Oats. And Oats will now have a chance to further try to sell Cole on joining the Tide when he’s in Tuscaloosa next week.

“It was a really good conversation (with Oats),” Cole said. “I like the type of coach he is and I’m looking forward to going on my visit.”

Sources: TCU's Jamie Dixon will hire LSU's Tony Benford as an assistant coach. Joins Ryan Miller and Duane Broussard on staff.

LSU coaches jumping ship before things get worse. Also, some news that went under the radar today is LSU amended Will Wade’s contract, so now they can fire him with cause if he commits a Level 1 or 2 NCAA violation. They’re getting ready bc they know it’s looking worse as more info comes out of this trial

Oats may not land many of these top 25 recruits now but I can guarantee you he lands zero of them if he doesn’t offer them. He’s laying groundwork right now. If he has success on the court, more and more of these kids at least listen and take him seriously. After that, we’ll land a couple of them. That’s all it takes if he’s successful. It will feed upon itself

It is a positive for Bama just to be mentioned with these top players. Others will take notice

So, a quick glance at 247sports and Watford is basically at 0% chance for Bama now?
