How would you guys grade the job Oats has done in his first two weeks?
I would go A+ but I have to leave room to go up if we get Watford, and/or Bolden.
I'd give him a very solid A so far.

I think Bolden will be our main two guard next year and will probably play about 25+ minutes a game if we get him. He has the ability to slide over to point when Kira needs a break.

The thing is i dont think he had good shooters on his team. They shot well because they got good shots if that makes any sense. Im pretty sure he said something along that line in an interview. Also he keeps offering slashers who arent shooters lol.

They also shot a ton of 3s. It's all about creating good looks and pulling the trigger. If most of the shots your team takes are layups/dunks, uncontested 3s, and FTs you're going to score a bunch of points.

He is offering slashers because we have guards who can shoot, what we don’t have are many good ball handlers.
Can you find this quote where you say he claims he didnt have good shooters? I havent seen it. CJ Massinburg is one of the best shooters in the country. Even their big man shot a higher three point percentage than Kira Lewis who was probably our most consistent three point shooter.

So Mick fricking Cronin is a better hire than CNO? A guy that coached at a basketball school with literally decades of good history manages to not be a complete disaster and gets them in the Dance every year from a weak league but can’t ever get past the first weekend. Or the guy that took a school that’s been playing basketball for a hundred years without a tournament appearance takes them to 4 consecutive, wins the most games in a season in conference history and takes them to #14 in the polls at a backwater school.
