Yeah, I am going to abstain from making any kind of judgments until next season, but Oats is probably going to be on the hot seat after one year. We may not win 12 games with a pretty experienced team. That is bad no matter how you slice it and people are going to be pissed.

I’m going to try to be more patient than that. I’m disappointed, but I’m giving him 2 years before he’s on the hot seat.

If you put makeup on a pig it’s still a pig. Our players are bad. Let’s give Oats 3 seasons then make a decision. That gives him time to get his players in. It sucks, I know. I want us to be good yesterday. Not how it works unfortunately.

Yea I'm not bailing on Oats. That's stupid.
I'm in the same spot I was with him when we hired him - I liked what he's selling but he's a mid-major coach and those guys have to prove they can win at the major level.
But I'm not blaming this shite bucket on him.

You're off your rocker if you think Oats is going to be on the hot seat after the 1st year. We don't even have enough people that care about Bama bball to make that the case no matter the severity of the disaster this season.

So Kira and Herb have 21 points, and the other seven guys have 11 points combined. Hell of a team effort there.
About the only thing I hope for at this point is Kira comes back next season and Petty, Reese, & Galin all grad transfer out along with whoever else wants to go, too. And then maybe we can fill those spots out with anybody that's even halfway decent.

Willing to give Oats criticism when it's due, but he inherited a team that has one decent ball handler and four guys that can't even touch the ball without turning it over.

Avery only recruited by the number of stars. He didn't fill any positions to help the roster. This season is on his arse. Oats needs to keep running his system. (Part of the expectations are on Oats' shoulders, for running his mouth)
