Nate Oats has a system and as bad as things were going with injuries and players who just were not blessed with the DNA to run the system, he stuck with it. The man is committed to a frenetic pace with everyone spread outside the 3 point line in the halfcourt. He needs ball handlers and shooters to make this work. He needs guys that shoot free throws in clutch situations. He has a lot to upgrade.

You gotta crawl before you walk. How about a guy that can rebound the ball off a miss and put it back with authority? I'd settle for a couple of those right now.

Agreed. For whatever reason we could not go strong to the basket this season. Seems like every time we got the ball under the rim, first thing we'd do is start dribbling.

This team from the Belmont game until the LSU game where Herb broke his wrist was fun to watch. Fell apart after that but we could all tell that Oats was gonna win.
